In South Korea I have seen many fishermen catching Steed Barbel on lures. Some do it intentionally but most catch them by error when targeting Black Bass (largemouth). The most popular way is with a plastic worm on the bottom, or during spawning season with a metal lure (as they attack them, but you get a lot of foul hooked fish). Enjoyed the video, a new channel to watch.
I really enjoyed your video. The main way to fish Barbel in Ismael is by ultralight lures. You may watch my "freshwater fishing" section and see. Mostly, our Barbels are smaller - up to 2 kilo. Thanks again for sharing!
Masterclass on playing a strong fish on light setup, constant pressure throughout from the rod and reel together with that current. Great video.
Well said! Lucky for me, victory was mine on that occasion 👍
Fantastic as always, did your friend Bart have any on the lure s as well
I don't think so.
Thanks

Yeah, it all makes sense and applies to European fish too. Seems all prey fish are most agressive/predatory around spawning time ✌
Thanks
