I wish I experienced it properly like he did cause I got a few spoilers through watching tutorial videos and also people getting their operators out at extraction showing off didnt help cause I pretty much figured it out.
But at the same time, those newly awakened haven't seen the evolution of the game, from the corpus bosses being just a different color, the creation of primes, the zoren copter, void towers, and then cinematic quest and open worlds, its been an unimaginable trip. Though, they undoubtedly have a much better starting point than we did.
I'm starting to remember this video where every Super Smash Brothers Ultimate fighters' name was ran though Google Translate and Wario's name was shorten down to War Just realizing one of the weapons in Warframe was named after that makes me laugh
fun fact: the tenno are named after the ship that they got lost with in the void. The ship was: Zariman 10-0. Ten-zero. Or Ten-O. Tenno. Quests to do now, that is worth recording: The war Within Chains Of Harrow The Sacrifice Octavia's Anthem These are all adding main lore pieces, have cinematics, etc.

Seeing people experience this for the first time never gets old. It's a real testament to how great a quest this is that it holds up so well in 2020. Little thing I think some people may not know...the questions that get asked here in particular produce little circles under the focus school names. I guess it was meant to act as a kind of personality test, based on your answers, "these are the most appropriate choices for you thematically." I chose Naramon on my first time as well, for the same reason, as I too want to know my enemy. As a focus school, Naramon isn't the best in terms of gameplay bonuses, but you can eventually unlock them all, so it's not a huge deal. Anytime people reach this point for the first time, I would ALWAYS recommend choosing the one they feel most connected to, rather than looking up what they do mechanically and going with that. You just create a stronger connection with your character going with your gut rather than focusing solely on gameplay.

Broken War is indeed a component for crafting War, but it's actually the better weapon of the two. So glad to see, even now, people awestruck at the beauty of this quest. It only gets better from here! Just a couple of quick things: -- You have a new power [5] that can be used with any Warframe. It takes time to charge, but can momentarily dominate the situation. In "The War Within", you will further develop this power. -- The Naramon Lens you got is equipped to a weapon or frame that is already Level 30, and converts affinity earned by that weapon/frame into Focus points. You equip it in the same screen where you would use a Forma. -- The Stalker is now upgraded! He will now appear with the greatsword War when he attacks you in the field, and he also has the same ability to negate damage as the Sentients do. He also gains their weakness against a certain kind of energy...
Yayaya I learned all about the operator power on stream yesterday, absolutely insane! 😆 Ahhhh ok, thanks for the tips. There's still so much to do and learn. Second Dream really is still the tutorial haha.
Love seeing someone play through this who has been and continues to pay attention. Knows who Natah is, understands that seeing the Moon is a Pretty Big Deal, and can figure out the mechanics instead of yelling about how they can't kill Stalker on the Orbiter. Adds to the hype when you see someone understand something new and can remember when you figured it out yourself.
Even though you had a sneaky peek at the wiki - which in itself is difficult as the game doesn't really hold your hand and almost requires you at times to look things up - it still doesn't prepare for how awesome it is. Keep it up dude, look forward to seeing you go through the rest of the star chart.
Congratulations, you've finished the tutorial. XD Have a closer look at tenno customization, there's a clothing section you missed, tho you're not given any options for free. There's a significant amount of cloths you can earn for your operator through the quills on cetus, and vox solaris and the vent kids in fortuna, which you can now acess. you might need to look up how to find them, they're pretty hidden. It's good to have both war and broken war at the same time. War is a heavy blade, and broken war is a one handed sword. They're both quite good in their respective weapon classes, and different enough to warrant keeping both of them. For the schools, I'd say naramon is probably the second best pick. Zenuick is far and away the best early pick due to it's ability to regenerate energy rather quickly. Which completely changes the game once you get it as is allows you to cast abilities far more frequently. You earn "focus" for each school (the experience type for these skill trees) by putting a focus lens on a maxed piece of equipment, any additional experience that equipment gains is converted into focus for that school. you can earn different lenses through bounties on any of the open world areas. I would recommend putting a lens of the school you want to focus on, on Octavia. You can also craft higher tier lenses that give you more focus for the amount of experience converted. But those are quite difficult to obtain. you can't use focus abilities until you've completed war within anyways tho so no need to worry too much about it yet.
It's been 5 years since I first played this quest, and hearing This Is What You Are triggers so many emotions even now EVERY SINGLE TIME. The whole story arc has perfect buildup, from Stolen Dreams to The New Strange all the way to the end of The Second Dream, and this is just the first step for you. The journey to The Sacrifice is one to remember, so welcome to the family :D
So hot tips? 1) You pick a primary face in the very top section, then pick a secondary face that you also like, and then use the slider below those options to blend them together in whatever ratio you like best. 2) Some faces are male and some are female - and you can tell which is which by the fact that the chesticles will grow/shrink depending on which one you have selected 3) There's another tab to the appearance editor all the way at the very top, where you can select stuff for the rest of your body - there's all kinds of outfits for your Tenno, and many of them (though not all, I think) can actually be gotten in-game from special hidden vendors in the open-world hubs once you've completed The War Within. You can even give yourself a new animation set based on the focus school you chose. 4) Moon levels are absolute pogChampion - great tileset. Be prepared to lose the spy missions several times before you get them though, those vaults are real headscratchers if you aren't some cheap fool that looks up vault completion guides before even trying them out like *SOME* people in this comments section who I am absolutely calling out rn. 5) Speaking of moon levels, some of the tiles that can randomly generate are puzzle rooms that will reward you with a 'Drift' mod if you complete them. Some of them are serious resident sleepers, but some of them are absolute top shelf goodness that you're gonna want moving forward. 6) You have an extra UI element now! In the bottom-right of your screen in missions, you'll see a little blue circle that slowly fills up over time - when you fill it completely, press the 5 key to activate your new ability! When Lotus said transference was stronger in the orbiter, this is what she was referring to! Welcome to warframe, Tenno - tutorial complete!
Congrats ! Now the true quest begin, the quest that no one has completed yet. The quest to answer this question : What the hell happened on the Zariman Ten-0 ???
piece of advice; even though most frame quests (octavias anthem, glast gambit, silver grove) unlock after second dream i'd recommend you wait for octavias anthem until after war within, makes it way easier.
as in easier i meant bearable, since the sections in the orokin tower are a pain with transcendence (not transference yet), which, transference you get after war within.
Okay, you've officially started your Tenno Iniciation. Now you're going for The War Within, and then The Sacrifice. And then you're officially one of us. The Tenno. Amazing video as always. Please continue!

I really wana see you do all the other quests too, not just the main ones!! :) welcome tenno, you are awake now, make whole this shattered world you've been given.
Thank you, thank you 😄 If I understand it correctly, the other main quests are The War Within, Chains of Harrow and The Sacrifice and they'll definitely get videos. Unless there are any others with big stories beats and cutscenes and what not I'll probably do the rest on stream :) so, you can catch the VODS on the 2nd channel, if you can't get to the streams.
@@RickySummer Yes those are the main quests but also "the new war". I would also say that "octavias anthem" is connected to the main story. Do take note that after you've done the sacrifice quest the continuation of the story happens in the 'Jupiter' mission node "The Ropalolist" you could bunch that in with the "new war" stuff because it doesn't take as long to complete as, lets say, the second dream. I will keep an eye out for the VOD's then ^-^
This quest makes me emotional. Playing since the game was first able to play, this quest was mind-blowing. The realization that my warframe was trying to save..... me? W.T.F
Btw. Just a thought but you should try out railjack (space ship combat). You can hop into someone's ship with the icon on the top right in star chart. If you do, then please make a video of it.

Yeah, congratulations on getting to the character creation. Also definitely do the War within as soon as possible it unlocks some very important abilities!
You're correct, you're intended to use the Broken War as well as drops from the Stalker as well as Sentients on Lua to craft the War. The War is generally a very rare drop. Just as a heads up, you're not permanently locked into the Naramon school, it's merely a starting point. In the longrun, you're expected to max out every school. However, the Focus mechanic is generally aimed towards higher level players so don't worry about it too much for now. Come back to it in 50 - 100 hours or so. Lastly, if you're looking to continue the main quest, the War Within is the next step. That being said, I would recommend waiting a bit with that for now and potentially visiting the Quills on Cetus first.
Just thought of a challenge for you. when you get a good bit of scans for the simulacrum, i kinda want to see if you can make music using the "voice" clips of different factions. Mainly the sentients. Also, one youve done the war within, make sure you have done the quest on the plains. After that, there will be a person in a little cave behind konzu that will give you something. And trust me, you are going to want this thing before you do the chains of harrow.
Before you start the War Within, I don't know what the buttons are for PC, but for the switch controllers it was hold R then tap L, and something cool will happen.

I hope you film your reactions on all of these. =] I've been enjoying your reactions so far.
Getting to experience the Operator reveal again is so satisfying.
So glad to see, even now, people awestruck at the beauty of this quest. It only gets better from here!
Just a couple of quick things:
-- You have a new power [5] that can be used with any Warframe.
Ahhhh ok, thanks for the tips. There's still so much to do and learn. Second Dream really is still the tutorial haha.
Welcome Tenno! Good job finishing the tutorial! :D On a serious note, keep on doing the quests, they are great.
THAT'S WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR
Your reaction was priceless, now, if you want more there are the "War Within" and the "Sacrifice" quests :)
Lol, called it. I knew your mind would be blown by the end of this quest!
Ah! Yes, these quests were so good to experience first time.
"Margulis, that's not Natah though"... well... oh boy...
Oh you already kinda knew... blew your mind anyway :)
The tutorial is not over yet ;)
can't wait to see your reaction to The War Within and The Sacrifice!
Lastly, I hope you get the idea of "Tenno" now, after the kids were on the Zariman Ten-0
1300 hours into the game and i didn't knew. ._.
Thanks for the comment. :D
@@BohemioGaming You're welcome, Tenno!
I thought it was a reference to DE's previous game?
Even though you had a sneaky peek at the wiki - which in itself is difficult as the game doesn't really hold your hand and almost requires you at times to look things up - it still doesn't prepare for how awesome it is. Keep it up dude, look forward to seeing you go through the rest of the star chart.
I had that exact reaction when I got to the Operator face customization menu. It was so emotionally charged, and it still is, watching years later
I wish I could experience the story of warframe again for the first time. Its a beautiful story, and its the kind of deep scifi that I love.
Congratulations, you've finished the tutorial. XD
Have a closer look at tenno customization, there's a clothing section you missed, tho you're not given any options for free.
Awesome, thanks for the tips. It's a bit to wrap my head around, but I'll start looking into it a little more. On to The War Within!!
14:05 - Every Warframe player can relate to this reaction lmao xD
It's been 5 years since I first played this quest, and hearing This Is What You Are triggers so many emotions even now EVERY SINGLE TIME. The whole story arc has perfect buildup, from Stolen Dreams to The New Strange all the way to the end of The Second Dream, and this is just the first step for you.
The journey to The Sacrifice is one to remember, so welcome to the family :D
So hot tips?
1) You pick a primary face in the very top section, then pick a secondary face that you also like, and then use the slider below those options to blend them together in whatever ratio you like best.
2) Some faces are male and some are female - and you can tell which is which by the fact that the chesticles will grow/shrink depending on which one you have selected
3) There's another tab to the appearance editor all the way at the very top, where you can select stuff for the rest of your body - there's all kinds of outfits for your Tenno, and many of them (though not all, I think) can actually be gotten in-game from special hidden vendors in the open-world hubs once you've completed The War Within.
Now it’s time to get to the War Within quest...
Always get chills seeing this a year and a half after completing this myself.
Definitely keep the broken war, the broken war is currently the best weapon in your arsenal
I love all the speculations
Congrats ! Now the true quest begin, the quest that no one has completed yet. The quest to answer this question : What the hell happened on the Zariman Ten-0 ???
I always love reactions to this story. So wholesome.
oh man, i never get tired of seeing players do the second dream for the first time
War within and the spooky harrow quest next!
Ok, Ricky. Tutorial completed haha
You can take two faces ftom primary and secondary face and blend them
12:51 is when I cried once I completed this quest. Somehow I felt pangs of my past mother reaching out to help me one more time.
piece of advice; even though most frame quests (octavias anthem, glast gambit, silver grove) unlock after second dream i'd recommend you wait for octavias anthem until after war within, makes it way easier.
as in easier i meant bearable, since the sections in the orokin tower are a pain with transcendence (not transference yet), which, transference you get after war within.
Okay, you've officially started your Tenno Iniciation. Now you're going for The War Within, and then The Sacrifice. And then you're officially one of us. The Tenno.
Amazing video as always. Please continue!
Don't make him rush through the story to quick, remember that it's ment for him to prepare before continuing the story,
Let him do it slowly otherwise hell get super confused with quantum-void-physics
You have finally completed the tutorial, now time to do WAR WITHIN & THE SACRIFICE
You have to get to the sacrifice quest
Congratulations you have reached character creation!
My operator has a matching scar with Umbra's broken helmet... I am really proud how I got her to look...
My favorite is The War Within. Looking forward to that playthrough. Glad you are enjoying the game.
I'm damn glad to see you progress in this game and especially as you progress through quests.
Keep up the good work Ricky
You should go for not mainline quests, like limbo theorem and sands of inaros.
Ah, I remember the first time I played this mission. Good memory.
Congratulations on completing the tutorial
Congratulations you finished the tutorial. :)
Boy am I excited for you to get into the origin of the *frames* now!! :D
Oh, me too ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I can't even wait!
I will keep an eye out for the VOD's then ^-^
Congrats! You have almost finished tutorial. Only The War Within remains.
Still the tutorial?! :O
When you choose a "Focus school" in the future, go with Naramon or Zenurik.
heh... truly is something to see others react to the true tutorial compeletion im still newish to warframe in my eyes but i can still enjoy what other vets see
Yeah, congratulations on getting to the character creation.
Ooooh that sounds interesting ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ya, I'd like to work with samples more again.
Alright, thanks for the heads up :) RAP TAP TAP!!
Can't wait for the War Within!
Well done on choosing Naramon as your first focus school. Make sure to apply that lens. Keep up the great content!
28:00 Well done, you've completed the tutorial.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) top 10 gaming bamboozles!
8:00 In a short time he already understands the lore behind the second dream. it took me how many mr levels to know that.
he also read the wiki before playing the quest, so he already had some stuff spoiled for him.
I miss this kind of quests
You still have much to learn young Tenn0
War within, chains of harrow and The Sacrifice
I personally like more the Broken War than the War itself. It looks cool and does a lot of damage in a faster pace than the war.
Ricky: who is this?
His operator: *I am you*
Also, his faces are priceless af
Wakey Wakey Ricky!
Before you start the War Within, I don't know what the buttons are for PC, but for the switch controllers it was hold R then tap L, and something cool will happen.
The operator beam thingy? yayaya ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
@@RickySummer Exactly. XD
Zariman Ten-0 ... Ten O ... Tenno !!!! Literally the number of the ship... the name of the void infected children.. a name given to a new weapon.. by the orokin
I will never forget my experience with the Second Dream. Although... My experience was odder then most... Cause I was up playing at midnight and an over ecstatic idiot thanks have taking 4 melatonin gummies beforehand. Just wanted to play some warframe before heading to bed... Was up for four hours later then normal on a school night.
War blueprint dropped from shadow stalker
And the war.... within. Gets me every time dude
