    Super tutorial, thanks Andrea! Just wanted to ask did you choose that method of joining the flap, outer and lining together as a matter of preference or to keep the velcro halves lined up perfectly? I usually leave a turning gap in the lining, put right sides together, stitch and pull through when making bags. Would that still work for this project? xx

      You can definitely turn this through the base! I just like the drop in method best. 😊

      That's fab, thanks. I find the turning through method tends to be a little more forgiving of my mistakes. No matter how many pins and clips I use I always get something out of place the other way, although I probably just need to learn to take my time!
