- The old saying goes "money can't buy happiness". In this talk Cole Hatter shows how money actually can buy happiness by creating for-purpose business models to fund world changing initiatives. If you want to change the world, consider starting a for-purpose organization instead of a traditional non-profit.
Cole Hatter is a husband to his beautiful wife, and daddy to his 2 precious girls. He owns several businesses, is a professional speaker, and a humanitarian. Cole is devoted to leaving an impact in this world and is intensely passionate about inspiring others to do the same. Cole truly has a gift for speaking and teaching, he has been on stage over 3000 hours and taught over one hundred thousand people live. Cole is an angel investor exclusively investing in people and companies committed to changing the world. His philanthropic heart has lead him on a journey around the world helping many in Rwanda, Russia, Mexico, Thailand, and beyond. I'm so glad you tied this into wealth creation and money. You perfectly help open eyes to why money does matter - why it can and SHOULD be combined with doing great and charitable things in the world - when they're normally viewed as opposing acts.

I may not have much money but i love to give back to the homeless people on the streets i grew up in. I have also taken a few out to eat or bought them some water, sonetimes clothes if i have enough money. I'm only 17 and I've been living on $100 a week from a job i help at
There's so much influence that comes from the stories we share. In a world full of distractions it can be hard to stay focused on what's most important. At times it feels like there's just too much to try and grasp. We need people like you who have had the experiences necessary to be able to use them to create an impact large enough to inspire and direct our focus back toward the love and happiness needed to make a difference. I feel like I've spent my whole life searching, trying out something new, changing my game plan, going to school, changing my majors, flip flopping between what I'm passionate about and how to make money, essentially needing guidance to put my efforts into something that matters and to offer my natural born skills to help others make a difference. I am a chief with no tribe. Thank you for providing a light to shine down on my path. Sometimes I feel like I'm fighting to start something, not even knowing what it's going to be. Our efforts are recognized by not only the amount of work we put into them, but by the impact they leave. I can't wait to continue on my journey into helping make this world a better place. I learned "For Purpose" concept in 2003. Not really a new idea but well presented.
Cole, I definitely agree money can buy happiness. I come from a family entrenched in the poverty mindset, my mom has worked 2 full time jobs as long as I can remember and my dad is buried in debt. What good is a paycheck if it doesn't allow you to really live your life by design? That's why building a purpose driven business is key. The purpose behind my business is empowering and developing entrepreneurial skills and teaching financial literacy. If we've only got one life to spend might as well spend it on what truly matters.
Your motivational story is one of the most moving stories ever told, ever heard; therefore your personal life story will be one of the greatest stories ever told, ever heard. You are being blessed directly from heaven.
Not only did you believe in yourself to thrive but the thrive you have given to other people is incredible. You took an unforgettable tragic accident and turned it into motivation and belief to help yourself and others. Both Steve and Matt would be super proud of you.
This makes me appreciative that I bought a ticket to Thrive. I just sent this link to my girlfriend who will be joining me at Thrive also. I watched this for a chance at $100 but the impact this video left me is far more valuable than that. Please keep your Benjamin, I've been paid.
