Don't bother trying to fight the neutral hero armies in the middle Island.
You don't need the Warden of Justice to catch the Thieves. Just buy enough units (to defend the town) so that the AI attacks you but you can still win. - Ігри

Thank you! And yes this is on champion difficulty, but I am pretty sure that the difficulty effects only the neutral armies (the main armies are still the same).

A new comment on an old video. But can you please tell me how your game can be streched to widescreen in heroes 4? It bothers me to death to play it on 3:4 resolution.
I don't know if I'll help, but I didn't find any ways to get full screen mode with the perfect resolution, I tried some sizes in the game's option and choosed the best one for me (even if it was not so big). I don't know if the problem is that the game is old or something else, try to use game's setting o search on internet, hope to be helpful.
Last week I found a resolution fix that stretched it to 1920x1080. I don't remember the link, but if you search resolution fix you should find it: New comment on old comment on older video haha.

Yeah it should work on Mac, basically you just download a zipped file and extract it to the main folder of homm4

Cool but I had no idea how to defeat orange guys since they have Armor and Shield of Order providing prot. from chaos. I can see they don't have such thing in your gameplay

well played, where I can downlaod this map ?
Great play, though two questions comes to mind.
1) The fact that no army had any mind-spell resistant creatures was a sheer luck or a feature? (Death: Vampires, Dragons, Paladins; Order: Golems, etc...)
2) If that would be the case, what's the strategy? (basically nether confusion nor Wasp Swarm works)
The map wouldn't be possible with those creatures or would cause a couple dozen more resets depending on the fight and your own army. It is strictly designed with that in mind (Tho I don't think Dragons in general are better than Hydras, nor Golems vs Magi) but as for vampires the map could be quite impossible to beat (unless they focus your heroes and not your main carry unit - since they shred your army in no time)
If you want to make it more challenging for yourself, the creator pointed out towards playing Might or Life, since they get access to a 2nd source of units rather late (or for life, that town you can conquerer gl against hundreds of catapults). It makes the map more challenging on its own but it comes down to the same gameplay . I think the most fun I had was playing Angels + 6 Heroes.
1) Blind spell.
2) high moral & mass slow.
3) multiple illusions/summons to take away retaliations & guide attacks of enemies.
Cast necessarry spells first, then wait until all units pass turn with blind, and then due to high moral and illusions(no moral), illusions attack first and take retaliation, then attack with all units vs 1 unit. Another way is vampire touch & slayer for dragons.

At 26:17 what is the spell cast on the thunder birds so they took no damage?
It's not on the thunder birds, he cast that on the hydras, dragon fire I think, gives double hit points and double damage from what I remember
@@Infarlock Yeah I saw that but when the AI's Thunder Birds attacked his hero there was some spell cast on them and I am curious which one was it

146 days, i just managed to defeat it : in the end i had 3 good heroes and 1 meiocre one, lost of resurrection, vampiric spell, mass confusion, horror , berserk,blind, and whatever made my life creatures attack harder.

Wow, Hydras are so strong.
There are still better tactics... I have finished this map in 9 months. Beating red in his castle with cyclops who could shoot 2 times. I did it with 4 heroes in main army. But still I did couple mistakes like producing black dragons in starting cities. So battles were very long. At the end I switched them for hydras. Try to improve you time. :)

@@ingvar9984 There are still better tactics... I have finished this map in 7 months. Beating blue in his castle with some more cyclops who could shoot 2 times. I did it with 4 heroes in main army. But still I did couple mistakes like producing some more black dragons in startings cities. So battles were very long. At the end I switched them for hydras. Try to improve you time. :)

I did it with 7 heroes in main army. But still I did couple mistakes like producing some more cute dragons in startings cities. So battles were very short. At the end I switched them for hydras. Try to improve you time. :)

I did it with 6 heroes in main army. But still I did couple mistakes like producing some more Imps in startings cities. So battles were very short. At the end I switched them for Skeletons. Try to improve you time. :)

I tried this map, but the game automatically gives me life magic as a second ability and no way to develop pathfinding, therefore I dumped it.
if you havo option ti pick necro mage here do it and rest of the game should be easy. necro magic and necromancy overpower
My most beloved and imbalanced Heroes 4 ) On high levels I easily took out 50 or 60 black dragons just with 3 heroes in the army.
Is this hardest map?
No bro. Hardest map in my opinion is Fragile World
@@Shadow_in_the_dark Fragile world is definitely harder especially at the end where you have to defend your native town from the barbarian armies
@@father_braun Don't remember such things... In my first walkthrought i played for 2 game years. And my next try were only for 14 months. As i remember barbarians attack your native town if you take hero that looks like medusa queen or if you don't finish map for 3 years.. Even if barbarians anyway atack your native town for another reasons i don't remember it... Maybe it becouse this attacks were easy?
Sergei Sidorenko I know what you are saying but I have played that map at least 5 times and the hero you are saying is called Sirka and she can be found in a quest where you are asked to kill her. If you choose to kill her and come back for the reward she will curse you and say that the barbarians will attack and you won’t get a reward. But if you choose to spare her live she will join you although if that happens it’s impossible to finish the map no matter what you do because you get some penalties for that (your resources are taken from you more often and Order units don’t join you that often). So it is almost impossible to finish it without triggering the barbarians at the end when you kill the 5 emissars of death they attack immediately and you have to get out and get to Falfala (your native town if I remember correctly) as fast as you can.

No. Not only does he have it, but the map was designed without equilibris in mind. Playing it on equilibris might break the map (he also has a note that says if you play on equilibris and encounter any bugs, dont mail him about it as it isn't intended to be played that way)
probably the cheesiest part of the series lol
