I am also a TacoBell expert and as such, You should definitely make a taco bell video showcasing some of the wild customizations you have done, or you like to do. I will start. 1. (for value and taste) cheesy bean n' rice burrito. ADD onion, ADD ground beef. TOTAL 2$ 2. bean n' cheese burrito. ADD onion (no cost), EXTRA cheese, XXXtra red sauce. (she a wet one 5/5) 3. spicy potato soft taco. ADD beef and onion. total about 2$ 4. chalupa supreme. NO sour cream, ADD creamy jalapeno sauce, ADD jalapeno slices, ADD onion. 5. chalupa supreme. SUB OUT BEEF FOR STEAK, ADD guacamole. ADD onion. 6. crunch wrap supreme. ADD double beef. and plenty of fire sauce.
Quesorito it’s a combination of a quesadilla and a burrito and it’s been a menu stable forever they recently stopped showing it on the menu boards but you can still order one online or in person. I like the steak version
Definitely agree especially with the bang for ur buck option, right now we actually have 5$ cavities trios with a Crunchwrap cheesy Gordita or a burrito supreme with a dlt taco and a medium drink for about 5.65 after tax and it’s so good and u can get the cheesy Gordita with the dlt shell for like 20 cents more same with the drink get a large for 20 cents more
i have been vegan for over a year now, and taco bell has always been my go-to spot, and my favorite fast food. it's cheap, and it's usually consistent where i go. i watched your entire documentary, and I loved every second! you brought so much awareness to how good (and healthy) taco bell can be! i feel like it constantly gets such a bad rep.
I got a big smile at the end when you said the best value was the $2 burritos, the beefy melt has been my go-to snack when I can't make a proper dinner
I think you nailed this. Cheesy Gordita crunch has been the best thing Taco Bell ever made and I’m glad that after all these years it’s still as good as ever. Also shoutout to the breakfast crunchwraps. Also way better than expected. My favorite is the steak one! But just watched the entire 30 day doc. Great stuff. Loved the vid!
My favorite thing at Taco Bell is the cinnabon delights but the only coming two and six packs and that's just too wide a range. 2 is a responsible amount to eat and 6 is just enough to convince yourself that eating all of them isn't that bad, but too few to consider eating em in moderation. If you're going to offer them in bulk offer them as a dozen like donuts. Honestly the options for them should be 2, 4, or 12 2 is a responsible amount 4 is being naughty 12 is I'm going to put myself in a diabetic coma/I'm responsible enough to eat them in responsible servings
Man I love that classic bean burrito. Whatever that cheese and sauce mix in there takes me back to my childhood. My fav item is the XXL grilled stuff burrito…. Rip. 😢
The chipotle ranch grilled chicken burrito without fiesta strips, is heavily slept on. Ever since McDonald’s got rid of there chicken wrap, this has been my go to. Also, for only $2 it is a steal.
I wholeheartedly agree that the cheesy Gordita crunch is the best menu item. SO good. I also really like the grilled cheese burrito, hoping they make that a permanent menu item!
I usually just go simple with the bean burrito, no cheese, add potatoes. I make better crunch wraps and double decker tacos at home. Not that they carry the double decker anymore. But I love those. So I just make my own. 👌🏻😊
As a taco bell expert as well as writer, director and voice actor of "Doritos locos tacos stealing moon" I can say this video had a lot to live up to but your shout out of Cinnabon delights showed that you really know your stuff.
First of all, bean burritos are the best thing ever (bean burrito, no onion, extra red sauce, banging) but I understand why some people are turned off by them. Bonus if you add in the fritos strips. My second go to is absolutely the chipotle chicken burrito. So dang good. One of the bonuses about Taco Bell is that we have a kiddo with Celiac, so they can't have gluten. Taco Bell actually offers a pretty good variety of gluten free options which are readily available and affordable without needing to take extra precautions. The most reliable product is the Power Bowl. The second is the Doritos Tacos, which is funny because regular Doritos are in fact NOT gluten free. So many thanks to \to the team of dieticians for taking those critical dietary restrictions into consideration. If I could tell Missy that myself, I absoultey would. Taco Bell has saved us on many a road trip, and the kiddo doesn't have to eat gas station cheese while we all have delicious but tormenting (for the kiddo!) smelling food. (As a side note, we never expect perfection, we understand that the kitchen is crawling with gluten. It can't go without saying that we have NEVER had an issue with gluten cross contamination at Taco Bell, so their training is absolutely up to par without needing special food safety training.)
I have fond memories of the Taco Bell test kitchen! I worked at the corporate office a long time ago. Almost every day they would send an email to everyone in the building asking people to sign up for their Taste Panel next door. We would get to taste test different items and get additional free food for participating-all while still on the clock! 💜🌮🛎
I only recently discovered that the bean burrito is the most hated Taco Bell item but for years it has been my favorite. Re fried beans, onion, and diablo mixed together is perfection.
One of my favorite Taco Bell items is the lesser known beefy potatorito which was a limited time item like 5 years ago. It tastes like chili cheese tots in a burrito which I loved. Super filling too for only $2!
I know it’s very basic but the cheese quesadilla has remained a favorite item of mine since my childhood. I could make several quesadillas at home for cheaper, but the classic Taco Bell flavor with that sauce is so streamlined and it’s very hard for the staff to mess it up even at the worst locations. recent go-tos for me have been adapting the 5 dollar boxes and making them vegetarian, and I’m very excited for the vegan items to be rolled out eventually. I was lucky enough to be in one of the testing markets for the vegan Crunchwrap supreme and I wish I could go back and order like 40 of those to have on special occasions. Not the type of thing I feel like your average meat eater would enjoy but for those with dietary restrictions who are also fans of Taco Bell, it was everything I wanted
I desperately miss the shredded chicken quesarito but I have found I can kind of Frankenstein recreate it by adding rice and nacho cheese into a chicken quesadilla!! Takes me straight to a happy place. Now I’ll have to explore some of the healthier options!
1. Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito (great value and the creamy jalapeño sauce brings it to next level) 2. Chalupa supreme (black bean or chicken) 3. Doritos Locos Taco Supreme… especially when they had the spicy, ranch, or nacho cheese nothing was better than the volcano menu though. All that with a Baja blast! Diablo Sauce and Fire sauce on everything too 😃
Let’s go num 3 Doritos Locos Tacos! ITS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE!!!!!!! You never fail to cheer me up! I waited FOREVER for your video! This made me smile!
Crunchy taco at any of these places is always great. I worked almost right next to a Del Taco for a few years, would go there for lunch most days and depending on how hungry I was just order 3-5 regular crunchy tacos for lunch that would be about $4 tops. Got to the point all I had to do was let whoever was working the register how many and that was the entire transaction.
Good call on the fiesta veggie burrito! As a non-vegetarian I never would've thought to try it, but it's unique and tasty. Someone clued me in that they changed their guacamole recipe and it's much better now.
the $2 burritos are where its at! Can't be beat. I use to LOVE the Meximelt's when they are around 80¢, but last time I could get one they were around $1.70 or so, and don't think they even have them anymore actually.
Also if you get anything with a flour tortilla make sure you tell them to grill it...5 layer cheese burrito with extra steak ...chalupa with steak.. supreme tacos..are some of my choices...
That beefy melt burrito Has been my go to for a while now it’s cheap good and filling when I’m having busy weeks or I don’t have time to cook or feel like cooking I’ll go get 20 or $30 worth of them and eat on them for multiple days on in I’m with you the cinnamon twist are the most absolute disgusting thing Taco Bell sells
Last night swung by Taco Bell for something to eat. Ordered the 3 Crunchy taco combo, a Burrito Supreme and a side of Pinto beans. First bite into the tacos found the ONLY flavor detected was that of lettuce and the taco sauce. Literally NO beef/protein tasted at all. Looking more closely found a very thin base of the seasoned ground beef (??) on the bottom of the taco shell. Decided to measure it coming up with an average between 3/16ths to just a smidge over 1/4th of an inch. That is with the taco shell closed. If measured with the shell opened up the measurement would have been less than that. Like the old Wendy's commercial used to say..."Where's the beef??" The Burrito Supreme?? About the same. Again, 1st bite predominant flavor was of lettuce. Lettuce?? Lettuce is NOT a normal addition to a real burrito but it was the main ingredient inside. The other tastes was a wee bit of refried beans and the dollop of sour cream. The beef taste?? Missing because there was so LITTLE added. Basically little more than a soft wheat tortilla and lettuce wrap. Four items that the seasoned beef is SUPPOSED to be the main ingredient... that wasn't there. The only item not disappointing was the soda, a HUMONGOUS soda. Normally not much of a soda drinker but why a soda so big, it has to be close to a quart in size?? After maybe a 1/3rd consumed, rest was washed down the drain. Taco Bell simply is NOT what it once used to be.
Bean Burrito is my Go to....but they have gotten very expensive lately. Back in the 90's they like 40 cents a pop and you could get 10 for under 5 bucks.
Even just a few years ago they were on the dollar menu... now they're almost double that at $1.79!! And I also definitely notice that the portions are getting small. Maybe it's just my location, but I the last two times I've gotten Taco Bell (drive through), the bean burritos I received were ghastly small and half tortilla. But price and portions aside, the onion + red sauce combo in bean burritos is 1000x better than Taco Bell's disgusting "Diablo" sauce which just tastes like sugary vinegar.
waaaiiiit i love the bean burrito but i do alter it! i take out the onions and add sour cream. gotta have it with hot and fire sauce, and extra sour cream on the isde
they took my caramel apple empanada away😢 but my go to if i wanna be cheap is a spicy potato soft taco and a chipotle ranch chimken bitto. if i wanna splurge ill do the mexican pizza combo.
Growing up in So Cal I've been eating it for 50 years. In the 70s and early 80s they used fresher ingredients but had a basic menu. The beans and meat have drastically changed so I've been going less frequently and since So Cal has many Mexican inspired fast food choices specifically Del Taco it satisfies my Mexican blood. But when TB started removing my fave items starting with the Bellbeefer then Enchirito and finally Mexican Pizza and tostada I've don't go. I appreciate your fondness for TB and enjoyed your vlogs. I did go back when they brought back the MP and especially the Enchirito and they were very good.
as someone who may or may not work at taco bell, it's funny seeing a guy who doesn't work there know the menu like the back of his hand like I do, I will say however I feel like the nutrition info is a toss up on whatever day you get it, it's just nearly minimum wage workers tossing on ingredients LOL great video though keep it up, love your channel and your closing message especially
Sausage Breakfast Crunch Wrap is 10000% the best breakfast item on their menu. Very rare will I eat at another fast food place when I can get that from Taco bell. If they ever brought back their Chicken Caesar Grilled Stuft Burrito, I would never have any reason to eat at any other fast food place. The Chipotle Ranch Grilled Chicken Burrito does come close and is one of my favs as well, great price and taste. But still a big Taco Bell fan my self when I do eat fast food.
The sausage breakfast crunch wrap was my favorite breakfast item at tacobell until they went from the sausage patty, to the little sausage crumbles. Not sure what changed there, but man the crumbles just don't taste good comparatively.. The cheesy gordita crunch has been a winner for years. They only had them for a short time, and they turned into the chicken chipotle melt, but the shredded chicken quesadilla melts were REALLY good, and only $1.. Really wish they'd bring those back(even if more expensive).
So I published this video a while back so I have definitely been back since! It was about 9 days before I went back I think. I got the Taco Lover’s Pass pretty soon after that!!
The best item was discontinued - the 7 layer burrito. I figured out how to add/drop items to turn other burritos into it though, so I guess I'll survive. Best item on the menu is crunchy Taco supreme add nacho cheese sauce. Their nacho cheese is just absolute Crack.
Bean Burrito to me is equal to crunchy taco. One of the best things TB offers. Anything they serve with two layers of shell or a thick shell is a non starter for me.
My current favorite menu items are the Crunchy taco supreme; sub refried beans, Cinnabon delights (coffee, too), Nacho Fries with Avocado Ranch sauce *_instead_* of the Nacho Cheese sauce, and the Power Menu Bowl. Btw my local Taco Bell keeps on defaulting to giving me nacho cheese with my damn Nacho Fries and it makes me pissed
Honestly the nacho cheese sauce, which is in almost everything at Taco Bell, tastes literally like vomit to me. Cheesy Gordita crunch is amazing though.
Hi! Appreciate you taking the time to comment. The tortilla and the flatbread are two separate items in the Taco Bell kitchen. The tortillas are used for tacos and burritos but the flatbreads are used in the Cheesy Gordita Crunch and a few other items. Hope that helps clear things up!
The double decker used to be my favorite item but they stopped making it and u have to get lucky if a store will still make it for you atleast in my area Portland Oregon. U have to buy a bean buritto and a taco and combine them together. How did you get on in your video @therealsamreid
Did your favorites make the list? Which items did I miss??? Let me know in the comments!
I am also a TacoBell expert and as such, You should definitely make a taco bell video showcasing some of the wild customizations you have done, or you like to do.

You sort-of got the Cinnabon Delights coffee right but it's because I like it warm instead ^^;

The bean burrito is my absolute favorite comfort food from taco bell, its cheap and delicious. The red sauce is top tier ❤
Fr 😂
Same here!! Glad I'm not the only one!
Thank you Kelsey for standing up against this bean burrito slander. Bean burritos are best when slathered in red sauce.
bean burrito lovers unite
Been my favorite since I was 5 and hasn’t changed. Cheap, tasty comfort food. Can’t beat it.
Sam is a TB god
Just a man who loves Baja Blast
Best taco bell item: Soft taco with steak fresco style. closest you can get to resembling real Mexican food (street taco) and it tastes great
I’ll have to try it!!
My favorite thing at Taco Bell is the cinnabon delights but the only coming two and six packs and that's just too wide a range.
2 is a responsible amount to eat and 6 is just enough to convince yourself that eating all of them isn't that bad, but too few to consider eating em in moderation.

Honestly the options for them should be 2, 4, or 12
2 is a responsible amount
4 is being naughty
12 is I'm going to put myself in a diabetic coma/I'm responsible enough to eat them in responsible servings
Man I love that classic bean burrito. Whatever that cheese and sauce mix in there takes me back to my childhood.
My fav item is the XXL grilled stuff burrito…. Rip. 😢
They have a double steak grilled cheese burrito currently on the menu that’s pretty dang good!
Same here!!!
The chipotle ranch grilled chicken burrito without fiesta strips, is heavily slept on. Ever since McDonald’s got rid of there chicken wrap, this has been my go to. Also, for only $2 it is a steal.

Almost certain grilled cheese burrito is here to stay
I usually just go simple with the bean burrito, no cheese, add potatoes.
I make better crunch wraps and double decker tacos at home. Not that they carry the double decker anymore. But I love those. So I just make my own. 👌🏻😊

Yes fiesta veggie burrito!! It’s become my favorite item if they got rid of it I would absolutely cry
I only recently discovered that the bean burrito is the most hated Taco Bell item but for years it has been my favorite. Re fried beans, onion, and diablo mixed together is perfection.
I can't convey how watching you talk about TB at 6:30am is the absolute perfect start to my Tuesday!
The Mexican Pizza (without beans). It's a fav, for sure!!! So happy it is back.
My experiment fell perfectly between them running out of it and then bringing it back (again). Wish I could’ve had those on the menu!
@@therealsamreid I thought that might have been the case!! I wish it wasn't so that you would have had another option to add to the mix!
Crunchwrap supreme is always my go to!
Crunchwrap supreme and Spicy potato soft taco deserve their flowers here as well
One of my favorite Taco Bell items is the lesser known beefy potatorito which was a limited time item like 5 years ago. It tastes like chili cheese tots in a burrito which I loved. Super filling too for only $2!
Anyone remember the double dekker taco? I used to get them with a side if Naco cheese sauce. So good.
I make them at home. So much better 🤤🔥

2. Chalupa supreme (black bean or chicken)
3. Doritos Locos Taco Supreme… especially when they had the spicy, ranch, or nacho cheese
nothing was better than the volcano menu though. All that with a Baja blast!
Diablo Sauce and Fire sauce on everything too 😃

Crunchy taco supreme, fiesta potatoes, nachos bell grande and the Crunchwrap are my faves
chipotle chicken burrito is my go too for cheap taco bell specially if u got taco bells that dont skimp on size
Crunchwraps especially the supreme Crunchwrap are like 500 cals with beans and it’s filling af my go to quick grab from the office
In Canada one of the faves is fries supreme. Sooooooo good.
My latest go to is the steak grilled cheese burrito and a beefy melt, just had it earlier today. Slaps so hard
beefy five layer with guacamole and jalapeños. topped with diablo sauce.
As a vegan. The cheesy bean and rice. No cheese add both beans, potatoes and tomatoes and grill it 😋
That sounds delicious!
Good call on the fiesta veggie burrito! As a non-vegetarian I never would've thought to try it, but it's unique and tasty. Someone clued me in that they changed their guacamole recipe and it's much better now.
I only eat TB on road trips but man your series has me excited for my next opportunity
The Nacho Gordita Crunch and Mexican pizzas are my faves
the $2 burritos are where its at! Can't be beat. I use to LOVE the Meximelt's when they are around 80¢, but last time I could get one they were around $1.70 or so, and don't think they even have them anymore actually.
Bean burrito sub red sauce for green. One of my go to's
Fiesta Veggie Burrito is the best. I like to add steak sometimes as well
Cheesy Gordita crunch is 100% the best item. Subbing the Doritos taco shell into it is a magical experience
Cheesy Gordita Crunch is the best! *highfive* I love stumbling upon hidden gems on YT. mmmmm the fiesta potatoes are amazing too omg
Do y’all eat those with the fork or nah?
Bean burrito isn't a favorite but it's a top 10 for me, sometimes I crave it. Just can't let it get cold imo
Cheesy gordita crunch is the best item still on the menu but the best item of all time imo goes to the volcano taco. They need to bring it back...
Looking more closely found a very thin base of the seasoned ground beef (??) on the bottom of the taco shell. the bean and cheese?? i love that one
Breakfast Crunchwrap with bacon is the best fast food item of all time
they took my caramel apple empanada away😢
but my go to if i wanna be cheap is a spicy potato soft taco and a chipotle ranch chimken bitto.
if i wanna splurge ill do the mexican pizza combo.
Growing up in So Cal I've been eating it for 50 years. In the 70s and early 80s they used fresher ingredients but had a basic menu. I LOVE the cinnamon twists. 😍
I agree with most of your choices except for the cheesy roll up being on your least favorites…it’s one of my top 3!!!
as someone who may or may not work at taco bell, it's funny seeing a guy who doesn't work there know the menu like the back of his hand like I do, I will say however I feel like the nutrition info is a toss up on whatever day you get it, it's just nearly minimum wage workers tossing on ingredients LOL great video though keep it up, love your channel and your closing message especially
The best thing ever made at TB was the cheap 2$ chicken Chipotle melt
The nutritionist gets me! My EXACT order. Diablo all day!
I thought I knew everything on the menu… fiesta veggie burrito?! Gotta try it!
Taco Bell breakfast is slept on HARD. It's actually so good.
The sausage breakfast crunch wrap was my favorite breakfast item at tacobell until they went from the sausage patty, to the little sausage crumbles. Not sure what changed there, but man the crumbles just don't taste good comparatively.. The cheesy gordita crunch has been a winner for years. Totally agree on the patty vs the crumbles!!! Great points all around
How long til you eat there again? What's going to be your order?
So I published this video a while back so I have definitely been back since! It was about 9 days before I went back I think. I got the Taco Lover’s Pass pretty soon after that!!
The caramel apple empanada needs to come back
Taco Bell needs to bring back cinnamon crispas and also bring back the mexi melt
The best item was discontinued - the 7 layer burrito. I figured out how to add/drop items to turn other burritos into it though, so I guess I'll survive.

I think you missed the Quesrito so legendary
This channel is fire tho
My favorite is the chicken chalupa supreme
Ryan and Shane from Watcher gotta chat with you about the Taco Bell love
Honestly the nacho cheese sauce, which is in almost everything at Taco Bell, tastes literally like vomit to me. Cheesy Gordita crunch is amazing though.
That darn potato bowl made me mad when i spilled it all over the couch
For a TB god he didn’t mention the Quasarito once and that’s just plain disappointing
The best way to fix the cheesy roll up is to add beef and pico….instant mexi melt.
You’re insane. I always get two bean burritos for leftovers the next day. Every single time.
bring back the quesorito
It’s still available on the app!
@@therealsamreid oh frfr? thank you my friend
You can still order it in the drive thru, at least where I work at
The weirdest thing I ever ate as a kid was cinnamon twists dipped in the nacho cheese sauce...It had the same fries in a Frosty energy. 😆
Not you killing the only item I buy.. 2 bean burritos no onion and a chicken quesadilla - elite order 😂
The chicken quesadilla I can get behind!!
Nice you got a employee shirt
crunchrap GOAT
I miss the seafood salad
So what's next?
Don’t tell anyone but my friend and I are doing the Waffle House Challenge in a few weeks!!! 🤫
I miss the quesalupa yo
do not watch this at 11pm at night lmao
Lol bro I like the bean burrito it’s good tho
I miss the zesty chicken bowl and taco salads.
Bro the bean burrito is literally the best item on the menu.
I'm never eating at Chipotle ever again. Bad experience with food as a direct result of them not wearing face masks, that's all I'm saying.
No love for the chicken chalupa with added nacho fries
No naked chicken chalupa?!
The breakfast Crunchwrap is the most unhealthy thing they have
Not arguing with you there! Just enjoy the taste 🙂
Who the hell calls a tortilla, flatbread? Um okay??? 😳
Hi! Appreciate you taking the time to comment. The tortilla and the flatbread are two separate items in the Taco Bell kitchen. The tortillas are used for tacos and burritos but the flatbreads are used in the Cheesy Gordita Crunch and a few other items. Hope that helps clear things up!
Your 3 least favourite items might be my 3 favourite items haha…ha 🙃
😂
This is how I know you have good taste... because those are definitely my top 3. Cheesy Gordita Crunch with the dorito shell is TOP TIER!
The best!!
The double decker used to be my favorite item but they stopped making it and u have to get lucky if a store will still make it for you atleast in my area Portland Oregon. U have to buy a bean buritto and a taco and combine them together. How did you get on in your video @therealsamreid
im so mad they got rid of the crunchwrap $5 combo where i live😭
😢
YOU DID NOT DO THE BEAN BURRITO LIKE THAT
