  • *Lesson on Importing from the Internet - Photoshop*
In this lesson, we explore the process of importing images from the Internet into Adobe Photoshop, a crucial skill for digital design and photo editing. The first step involves finding high-quality images online that suit your project needs. It’s important to consider copyright and usage rights when selecting images to ensure they can be legally used in your work. Websites offering royalty-free images or those with Creative Commons licenses are excellent sources. Once you have identified the image you want, download it to your computer by right-clicking on the image and selecting the "Save As" option.
After downloading the image, the next step is to import it into Photoshop. Open Adobe Photoshop and go to "File" in the menu bar, then select "Open" from the dropdown menu. Navigate to the location where the image is saved, select it, and click "Open." This will load the image into Photoshop’s workspace, where you can begin editing. Photoshop provides various tools and features that allow you to crop, adjust colors, and apply filters to enhance the image according to your project requirements.
Finally, once you have made the necessary adjustments, it's important to save your work properly. To do this, go to "File" and choose "Save As" to select the desired file format and location. Consider saving your edited image in a format that retains quality, such as TIFF or PSD for future edits, or JPEG for web use. This process ensures that your imported images are effectively integrated into your design projects, ready for professional use or sharing.
