DOUBT :
1) Why didn't we take Creditors in calculation of Purchase Consideration ?
2) Why is the Balancing Figure for Preference ShareHolder a/c is done by Realisation a/c and for Equity Shareholders a/c , it is done by Cash a/c ??
1st doubt - because they only took fixed assets and debentures and left the other assets..Thats why they will give PC only for fixed assets and Debentures thats why you will consider only debenture and not creditors

What if there is bill receivable of ₹ 10 k is not taken and creditors ₹ 20 k not taken by the purchasing company but bank account which has 20 k is taken by purchasing company so 10 k of creditors will be subtracted from bank account and balance will be given to purchasing company?

why is debentures not taken in debit side , as u told all liabilities should be sold by tranferor company itself if the tansferee company is not taken it over .
Why stocks and debtors were transferred to the debit side of realisation account?even though they are not takenover by purchasing company... Why they were entered again in the credit side of the realisation account ? Why two kind of entries were made one for transferring assets to realisation account and another for selling those assets ,? Please give answer to my question...

Sir in this question.. Y u r considering net assests method... As in net payment method.. Purchase consideration can also b given in cash na
Oh I understand your doubt.
See here first priority we give to NET PAYMENT ( to see if we can calculate PC by net payment)
We can calculate through NET PAYMENT only if sufficient info is mentioned regarding what is given to OWNERS ( ESH & PSH)
If sufficient info is not there then we have to calculate PC through Net Asset.
In this question here they have said equity shares are given to owners but they have said “balance in cash”
And we dont know what is the full amount so how much cash should be given? We have no clue thus this is “Insufficient information”
Can’t use Net Payment method.
If you will watch the second problem video there we have used NET PAYMENT because sufficient info is available ; there it is mentioned exactly how much cash and shares will be given.
So there NET PAYMENT works.
Because sufficient info of what is given to owners is available.
Ok..
So when direct info is given about how much cash and how many shares and deb is giving to owners.. Only then we can apply net payment method

Sir, I have 2 questions...
1. When preference shares are issued at premium by purchasing company ( new company) then this premium is shown in securities premium account or it is combine with preference capital ....
2.. In case of vertical balance sheet, amalgamation adjustment ( entry for statutory reserves of old company) are shown in under the head of non current assets or it is deducted from reserves and surplus....
