    The Milani brow brush that comes with this is amazing. It is one of the best brow groomers I've ever used. I like it so much that I use it to apply the other brow products I've tried. It's fine, flat and firm. Allowing for easy outlining and filling in the brow. This product is pretty good. I've even used it with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade to add dimension and achieve a more natural look.

    I recently bought this product & have been loving it! I used to have the NYX product but it was just too dry for me, anyways half way through the little pot it dried out I was so disappointed. If you're on a budget and don't want to splurge on the Anastasia dip brow this Milani product is a great alternative that comes with an awesome brush!!

    I love brow products although I won't buy a high end one lol. I think some drugstore products are good enough that I don't need a high end version, like mascara and brow products. and that's what I love about your channel, you buy both. Other products I believe have to be of better quality like eye shadows, well pretty much everything else. thanks for the video Emily!

    I really loved this Milani Stay Put brow color! I bought mine in Dark Brown as well and it matched great. I do agree the color selection is a little tricky. Also, applying the Lorea'l Brow Stylist Plumper with is really helped my crazy brows stay put for a long time!

    Looks just like the anastasia dip brow pomade! But that feature regarding how this milani brow product can hold the brows in place is something the anastasia one didnt have! Gonna try this one out!! Thank you for sharing!!!

      Try the Anastasia Brow Pomade! It's worth the slight splurge! I purchased mine exactly a year ago and have used it every single day, using quite a bit as well, and I still have half left to this day from the original package I bought last year.The amount of product is everlasting!
      The browns are cool toned/neutral toned, isn't too try, and has a great hold and lasting power!

  • @cynthiawhite9213
    @cynthiawhite9213 9 років тому

    I'm a redhead (with brown-red hair) so I got soft brown since they suggested that one for redheads, and the first time I tried it out I thought it was so grey on my face. I have grown to love it since my caramel Anastasia powder is darker on my brows, I can get a straighter line with this cream, and it does stay put without rubbing off or fading, but in a lot of lighting it still does look very grey on my brows. To me, most of the colors on the display seemed cool, and this one is no exception, even on my face.

    That doesn't seem that dark for the darkest shade, especially for a line that serves women of color (or at least that used to be their focus). I have black hair and really pale skin, and I can tell this shade would be too warm for the couple small areas where I need to draw on a few brow hairs as opposed to less precise shading or filling in the brows. My absolute favorite product for my needs is the Anastasia Brow Wiz in Granite, but the NYX dupe in Ebony is also great (and it isn't black despite the name). I thought I'd post this info for anyone who has trouble finding brow products that are dark and ash-toned.

    I have been wondering about those Milani brow products so I was so glad to see your review here. I usually use a taupe to soft brown/dark blond but as you said it really depends on the warmth.
    The reason I was so curious is that I am almost out of my NYX Tame & Frame but can never find it in stock anywhere. This seems to be an issue with all of NYX's popular new releases. I finally got my first T&F by making up an Ulta order and adding it on just to avoid shipping costs😕.
    Milani seems like it will be easier to come by so I do think I will be trying it next.
    Thanks!

    Thanks so much for this review Emily! I swear the drugstore has been stepping up as far as brow products are concerned and I LOVE IT! You have to try the new Maybelline Define + Fill Duo if you haven't already though! I love this! At first I was so scared to try any pomade because I didn't want an intense brow but I learned how to keep it natural! I like the brush too but I find the spoolie side kinda hard.

  • @ladyw605
    @ladyw605 9 років тому

    Thanks for the review...I have given considerable thought to trying this new product. I do believe that color might be an issue...if the taupe is warm and there is any chance of a red tint then I may have to go with the color you chose which would likely be too dark for me with my gray hair that was once the color of your beautiful hair...!!!! xoxo Wanda :D

    I got this recently and it is my favorite of all the affordable dupes for the Anastacia Dip Brow. I actually like this one better than the Anastacia one, and hello, bonus having a brush included! I have tried the NYX tame and frame and unfortunately cannot get it to work for me. I keep it sealed tight but it is really dry and crumbly which makes it hard to work with without making a mess. :( This one from Milani is HG for me. I got Medium brown and find it to be pretty neutral, a little warm but I color my hair a warm brown and sometimes red so I like a little warm tone.

      Jen Lux I have tried sooo many. But lately I have been super happy (and surprised by) the essence brow pencil. I picked it up at Ulta for like $1.99. It sharpens to a perfect point, and is a good balance of creamy but dry, so it looks natural. I got it in Blonde 04, but they have other shades too. Worth a try, especially for the $!

      Just takes practice like everything else! I think it's easiest to start out with a pencil (and a spooli to blend) that can be used gently to not give off too much product. When I started filling in my brows (they're dirty blond and sparse) I only added a little color and once I was comfortable I started doing them to the depth I wanted.

      rukiaino Start with a brow powder (or any cool-toned brown/taupe/whatever color your brows are eye shadow) and a brow brush (Real Techniques has a great one) and don't go overboard. Oh, and a spoolie & q-tips are your friend. If you add too much brow product, brush through your hairs with the spoolie. If that doesn't work,, get a q-tip and wipe away the extra product - don't add makeup remover to the q-tip, just use it dry so it doesn't remove all the brow product.
      emilynoel83 Has a great brow tutorial. Her teaching style is amazing because she really breaks it down for you. Good luck!
