DIY ELECTRIC BIKE

Hi, this is the design and how to make of a homemade electric 1000w 10 ah lifepo4 bike
the bike is the cheapest down hill bike i had found, the motor is 1000w hub motor very silent and efficient.
the instalation of the motor wheel is very simmple and easy, you just need to file the frame a little bit in order to fit the special axle.
the lifepo4 battery is modified to triangle shape, controller has a soap bottle to be real waterproof, is been used for 5 years, no problem till now,
used almost everyday, but battery should die soon. the good news of this problem is that some of 16 cells are damaged, not the battery. I will show you
how to change the died cells, the disc brakes are recomended becouse of the speed and weight of the bike, the rear shock seems to be the cheapest of china
that makes some flat tires, the wheel weight is 5 kg and battery 5kg more. the battery is atached with velcro and climbing flat rope, duct tape works good too.
all connections are insulated, even vent shunts, I rided in heavy rain with no problems.
Its perfect for the city and offroad with medium slopes. It doesn't make sound, a little bit more than a regular bicycle.
the downhill bike shape is been chosen to place weight centered and with low gravity point. Its possible to pedal and make more than 20
miles. the autonomy is measured at flat road, no pedal, full throttle.

C'est parfait pour la ville et hors route avec des pentes moyennes. Il ne fait pas du bruit, un peu plus qu'un vélo régulier.
La forme du vélo de descente a été choisie pour placer le poids centré et avec un faible point de gravité. Il est possible de pédaler et de faire plus de 20
miles. L'autonomie est mesurée à la route plate, sans pédale, accélération complète.

Thanks. Make sure to insulate from water air vent track. You can make it with electric pvc flexible tube. Mine is insulated with archivers plastic dina4 folded to make triangular shape.
You dont want water around the battery.

I have a Rayos electric bike that has a 24 volt 600 watt motor. It needs a battery . They are so expensive ($300.00) How much did your battery cost. I need a new one.
