Spent our honeymoon here in 2017 and place hasn't changed loved it then and would love to go back, you missed the cigar bar though!

we were in room 1301, on the first floor, it is one of the diamond club junior suit rooms but they are quite similar to the regular junior suites, but when you pay for the diamond club you have other small benefits at the hotel. I hope you and your family have an excellent vacation and thanks for watching the video!!

yes, all the restaurants are included and are a la carte so you must make reservations in advance in the hotel lobby for the day and time you would like to eat and they might have things outside the menu that yes you have to pay like some famous wine or drink and things like that but that's up to you, they still have free drinks on the menu don't worry. thank you very much for watching the video
Hello just did a search for Royalton Hicacos Varadero Resort & Spa. Is it true there is only 2 kinds of rooms available?Is wifi free or not? I read on some sites saying FREE all over, other sites say Free but only public areas and another site that says not free. What do you get with room service?

Yes, our room was diamond club💎 so you should get a room like that, i think that would be a good idea if you guys contacted the hotel and let them know that it is your honeymoon, they will surely prepare some surprise🎁 for you. I wish you a good time and be very happy forever🙏

Esta,o no está bueno el hotel?yo fui al melia peninsula varadero y la comida mala,y una cola para cojer una tortilla en el desayuno.limpieza y personal muy bueno,pero la piscina con mojo verde y cucarachas
El hotel en lo personal nos pareció muy bien, a pesar de que cada persona pueda tener un criterio igual o diferente, la comida es uno de los puntos débiles de la mayoria de los hoteles en cuba pero desde nuestro punto de vista y comparada con otros hoteles que hemos visitado habia bastante variedad y estaba bien elaborada, nuestra experiencia personal fue muy satisfactoria y el hotel esta muy limpio en todas sus areas, incluyendo la piscina.

How is the food on this resort compared to others? This is a 5 star for cuba right? I know its not a true 5 star but is the food any different from your average Cuba resort?
Yes, you are right, in general a 5-star hotel in Cuba is like a 4 star Hotel, although this seemed very good to us in almost every way, and on the subject of food in Cuban hotels it is always a very sensible topic due to its lack of variety and offer, we personally had no problem, if you watch the video you will see at different times some of the meals offered in the buffet dining room, although the hotel also has several a la carte restaurants that also offer a different menu and its well cooked, If you ever go and visit the hotel I invite you to leave a comment with your opinion. you're welcome, it's a pleasure to be of help. and yes, this hotel is one of the good ones, I am also waiting for the pandemic to pass to visit cuba, I have family there, during my trip I plan to visit some hotels, the melia internacional varadero, the melia paradisus los cayos and the melia cayo coco, those are good hotels too. I hope all this happens soon and that we can both have our holidays lol. regards
