every time i watch this i can't believe how low they scored john's second wave. such critical progressive power surfing compared to morais's first luke warm wave. lacomare's first wave was much better than morais too.

anyone suggesting local bias has to be kidding. john's first ride so much more critical than morais's , who was just hanging on looking like he was made of wood. morais way overscored. announcers surprised. then john's wave , which he ripped apart underscored. to give that only .5 more than that first wave of morais?
