@keganhowell wow so I guess that means you play what sounds good to you and we all think it sounds amazing. I'm a 14 year old drummer (i dont do drum videos on my channel) and ive been doing this for about 10 years and am the same way as you. I just play what i think sounds good.
I mostly play by spirit. Led by the spirit. God uses me as a vessel and then he does what he has to do. I don’t try to play to sound good. It’s all for the kingdom! So ya. Thats the way I see it.
