Populations: Lisbon city 545,000, metropolitan area 2.8M, Manchester city 508,067, metropolitan area 2.5M. Not a huge size difference.
Lisbon’s city centre is way bigger than Manchester’s city centre. The district of Lisbon is nearly twice the size of Greater Manchester. Plus the population density in Lisbon is 6.452 inhabitants per km2, while in Manchester 4,735 per km2. You can feel the difference :)
@@Celinassousa Are your densities for the cities only? If a metropolitan district is twice the size of another with roughly the same number of people, population densities would logically be lower.

I firmed Manchester a few weeks ago and your videos have been a great help in making that decision! I personally loved Manchester when I visited (I come from a city that is smaller though), do you know what it is that made it hard for international students to get used to it? Just curious haha, cause my first impression was so different. Great video as always! :)
That's so great! I am really happy to know that. Ooooh that's a good question. I don't know why people don't like it. I guess maybe they build expectations because of London and if they haven't been to Manchester they don't know how it is. I really don't know! I think it depends a lot

That depends on the course you study!
Do you think the university does care about you? I know their student satisfaction is bad compared with other top unis.

Do you know any scholarship to study at Manchester? I’ve reived an offer from Manchester but i’m sure that without an scholarship I can’t afford to study here.
Unfortunately, Manchester is terrible with undergraduate scholarships. I really hope you managed to come here and enjoy your time in Manchester. If you are really struggling, they have a hardship fund as well!
