- So to start off this is a k24a from the EURO tsx in Japan the only two engine you can use that would make good power k24a or k24a2, its true you can buy any k24 and you can use the block and the crank to build it but thats about it, in order to boost up the power on this motor we did the norm boltons

Ktuned fuel system
Ktuned 72mm tb
vibrant 3" custom intake with stack
Asp header
3" custom exhaust with two high flow cat and Ktuned muffler
Clutch Master fx350 with steel flywheel

K20a2 oil pump
The two things that you can swap the 50 deg and the oil pump will make a lot of diff in power in mid range for the gear and higher safer rpms with the pump

Also if you put the locking pins in the rear of the cam shafts and cam cap , you can trust that the cams will stay in place....
I'm going to be doing the 50deg cam myself on my k24a but I'm still un sure on how to unlock and lock the gear I know it has to be unlocked to take it off but how do you Re lock it once it's on

What's the difference ? Some people install 45* not 50*, can it be installed and not tune the car just put it together with a2 pump? Or need to have a flashpro for my tsx? Thanks
Very good informative video. I have a k24a2 swap with a stock 25* vtc. I read that k24 have clearance issue over 45*. Did you ever have any issues with the 50? Or do you just tune the cam tables to never past 45?

I am here asking myself the same question if i put that 50 degree cam gear? Would i have any issues on valve clearance once i turn it on or run it? Also do i have to put the cam and lock it with the cam or do i have to put it unlocked and then timed it ? I am really unsure on how is the step of putting the cam gear ? I have that same engine K24A

I keep seeing mixed responses where people say the type s pump fits fine with the K24 pan and others say it's a tight fit and recommend the K20 pan. Just want your input as I know you are done with the build and can let me know first-hand.
