Love a good pho! The way I was shown how to eat it on the west coast of the US is to mix in all the things you like (typically bean sprouts, mint leaves, sweet 'duck' sauce, and hot sriracha sauce) to your liking and then we eat all the stuff inside with chopsticks and usually sip the broth at the end. Not saying that's authentic just what we do. It's a wonderful worldwide dish, always feels healthful and hearty, hits the spot best in cold weather but also can be oddly wonderful when it's hot too!

I am Vietnamese. I can recommend hundreds of delicious typical Vietnamese dishes. Why Vietnam has a rich cuisine. There are three reasons: first, Vietnam has a favorable climate for cultivation to have dozens of spices, cereals, and fruit variety... Second, Vietnam is located between China and India, was colonized by the French, so the cuisine has been introduced and diversified. Third, a very important thing, Vietnamese people like to be creative in food processing, we don't like fast food, prefer to prepare it ourselves, which leads to a rich number of dishes.

I'm impressed how all of them got pretty comfortable with using the chopsticks 🙂 Especially if some of them haven't used it before I'm asian and I still struggle using chopsticks from time to time lol

I used to not like Pho, but once I found a place that sell really good Pho I stick to it, hang to it with my dear life. I've converted from Riceism to Phoism, eat Pho almost everyday, the Pho lady know my order by heart.

In Vietnam, motorcycles is way cheaper than a car or taking a train. Also, it is jam-packed only in Saigon. You won't see that scene in Hanoi or some smaller towns like Hue or Can Tho.

Would love to see them try an Asian dessert of mangos over coconut rice. ♥️♥️

Yeah snakes do have some type of medical properties...I had a cousin who had server psoriasis...and I mean SERVER. Nothing worked so, my Aunt (his mom) decided to use snakes powder. She forced my cousin to drink it every morning in a form of shake. And by the end of month he had clear skin.

I really miss Pho. I used to have at least every other week when I lived in San Jose, there's a huge Vietnamese population there. I had it before when I lived in Hawaii. There was a place called the Green Papaya just up the street from work with wonderful Pho and other Vietnamese dishes. I could never manage chop sticks though.
