My husband loves to go off-roading in his jeep. He made a design in Canva and asked me to make a shirt for him. Using DTF Technology makes doing it very easy.
Yamation DTF Film (various sizes available but my printer uses A4) amzn.to/3SbArft
    Yamation DTF Powder amzn.to/42rUvPH
Heat Resistant Tape (I like the 20 mm tape) amzn.to/4b6rPzt
    Butcher Paper amzn.to/3S9uLm9
    Tape Dispenser (Jumbo Size) amzn.to/47O64Sd
Parchment Paper (I buy mine at Walmart but Amazon carries it too) amzn.to/48NCDRu

Love the shirt! Have you had any trouble with your printer? I am seriously thinking about getting one. Do you have a tutorial on the maintenance? If not would you please do one. Thank you!❤

I have had times when I have had to do a couple of print head cleanings, or suck the white ink up through the damper (only twice, I believe), but no real trouble. My maintenance has evolved over time. When I first got it, I was doing a print head cleaning (which isn't as big of a deal as it sounds on this machine) and printing at least a tiny image daily. The machine mixes the ink on its own. Now, I try to do a print head cleaning daily (I end up doing about 5 a week) and I print only a couple of times a week.

Hi Marilyn. As always this is great video. I have a question for you. I am making a gamblers quilt. It is going to be black and red and each 10 square that is red will, have a black diamond, club, heart or spade on it and the black will have the same in red. I am struggling as to whether screen print it or use DTF. Which would you use. I don’t want to use have because I want it to look great even after a 100 washes. I’ve cut out all the squares and just need to decide how I’m going to put on the designs. TIA for any advice you can give me.

I haven't had experience with screen printing, but I found information online that says properly cured screen printing is more durable than DTF. Since you are using solid colors, I would probably lean toward screen printing based on information I found on the internet. If you happen to watch Tshirt Chick, you could try to ask your question during one of her lives. She does both screen printing and DTF and is very helpful. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. BTW, the quilt sounds really cute!

Thank you so much, Meredith! Yes, I love how you can print almost anything that you can design and use it on a shirt. It does take more maintenance than a regular printer but I haven't found it to be bad at all since it has the auto stirring system and the printhead cleaning function.

I love that they will do so much! Just take time to do the maintenance, which for me has not been much, but it is required in order to keep the ink flowing through the print head well.

Hi Marilyn , what dtf printer is this one ? I’ve herd so many have trouble with these what is your true feelings on these . I’ve been thinking of the I 1800 procolor . Thanks in advance.

I have the L805 Procolored, which prints smaller than the one you are looking at. I really do love mine and I like that it has the automatic shaking system on it. I either print or do a printhead cleaning on it almost every day. I've had to change out one of the dampers once and suck white ink through the white ink tube once. These printers definitely require more than your typical inkjet printer but I love it.
