Given the frequency that happens in DCS, it's almost counterproductive to react with anything other than "Mmmkay. See you in a couple minutes in a new aircraft."
Really enjoyed watching this sortie, very immersive, as a rookie Apache pilot I am glad I am still in training and not in that field LOL, great job Casmo ...
As a long term fan of DCS, since LOMAC, it's a shame that I feel that you need to have military experience to get the most out of some of the modules, plus people to play online with. I have neither. I taught myself to fly the A-10C and the Ka-50, when they came out, and, as much as I would love to fly the Apache, really love to, I just would never to get to a level like you Casmo, with your real world experience. That experience translates the immersion for me 100%... It just feels so real watching you.
Hey bud, I’ve been casmo’s CPG in some of these videos. I’m just a civilian cnc machinist with no prior service or even any aviation background. It’s just a hobby I enjoy and put time into to improve. Just be willing to learn and be ok with making mistakes. And quite honestly fake it till you make it. If you want to try it out, check out casmos low level hell discord and fly with some of us.
@Casmo, I'm using TrackIR and I can't figure out how to zoom in/out where when I zoom out, my default view is too zoomed in; I can't see the MFDs. What zoom control are you using and to what control? Thanks.
hay Casmo.. According to a documentary i just watched, the Apache can reach 20k feet :/ This possible in DCS? Im gonna try it at the weekend just wondered if you knew? I know the gazelle has trouble getting 100ft nevermind 20k lol
Hi Casmo, your viewers are from diverse backgrounds and nationalities who respect you for being a capable Apache pilot. Please take care that racially offensive terms or slurs are avoided as I know that doesn’t represent who you are. Take care Farooq
15:10 - “Bootleg 2-1, we just lost an engine” - everyone else on frequency: no fucks given. 😃

And I'm in training to fix these things! Gonna graduate in less than a month. Go easy on 'em please and thanks 😆
yup, brother in-law, CW5, said 900-1200 ft was normal, nap was if we had a specific target package

@@slow9573 I would love to. Thank you Slow, appreciate that kind words.
Go to the DCS forum and search for a fly buddy. I‘m sure you‘ll find like minded…
That synchronized hellfire though. Mmmmm so good.
Hope all is going well with the new job bro 🤘🏽
Even with the owie, looks like a fun mission :) Thanks for sharing it with us!
The 2nd engine brings you to the screen of the crash. Nice single engine landing
nice video, the multiple nets firing off at inconvenient times is too realistic lol
awe.. I wanted to see them come down and pick you up.
Another awesome video. Thank you.
Really enjoyed that! Glad I'm not the only apache driver getting owned in Syria!
Nice one!
I really wish you could just climb out and in the Blackhawk !
Fallen angel... yeah screw that guy lol.
Is it a software thing with the D model that you dont get an MSL reading in transition mode? It seems like sometimes I have it and sometimes I dont.
Not in the avionics version that's modeled.
Do you know what that little compass thing is in the bottom left hand corner of the cpg seat and how to erase it?

Use a slider or rotary knob on your flight stick or your throttle.
@@OLIV3R_YT check, and to which binding(s) do I map it?
@@mrwjs Go to "Axis assign" and bind "Zoom View" to your slider.

I wish the Apache flew better on 1 engine. I can’t even get autorotations to work.
Is this a campaign you made/had someone make for you or is it from one of the dynamic generators?
