Noisy? Nope, not compared to a gas spliter....and 30 miles in the country, im only disturbing the jackrabbit and the rattle snakes 🐍.
Basically there the same. Boils down to personal preference.

All the electric splitters would work better if they designed their wedges to penetrate the wood more before it hits the spreader part.
