Cat food portions are based on the recommended weight of your cat, not the actual current weight. So if your cat is 20 lbs but his healthy weight is 15, feed him based on the 15 recommendation :)

LOL Me too. But they don't know how to read the labels. If you want your cat to maintain a 14 lb weight...you feed it a 1 cup serving. If they want their cat to stay fat; then they would 'over feed' it as they hinted about feeding it 1.5 cups of food. lol
I used to have a cat that was 24 pounds but he wasn't fat, just a very large cat. I think our most recently adopted feline may be getting close to 20 lbs but he's just 14 months old and still growing :) He's a big, beautiful ragdoll.

Phoenix will probably like the squeeze treats. You just squeeze some up onto the outside of the tube and he will lick it off. I have some really high end ones that actually have scallop puree in them and they love them. I know you hand prepare his food but these are usually pretty high in protein :)

Me too I like the Charmin.. Oh yeah it expensive, Blue Buffalo it healthy for your cat. My Mom buys that brand only for her dog. Beware of the cheaper brand, that stuff is cancer causing and they ultra companies don't care. It sad. I've seen how they put nasty stuff in it.. You guys have a great sense of humor! My Charlie is off the Chart too and he is still growing. He is 22 lbs.
