The Indonesian kid had powerful vocals! Especially with consideration to his age! Surely, he's got some stuff to work on, but I think cca. 1 out of 100,000 kids have such talent, and cca. only 1 out of 10,000,000 realize and use their talent actually.
At the same time it's kinda embarrassing to see a kid singing a song about drugs and sex, but IMO getting acquainted with these things is almost inevitable at this age (see modern music videos, grammy and emmy gala etc. where women [almost young girls] are showing almost their whole body to the world, like "financialising" their body - precisely what the feminists are against [see the movie "Troublemakers" starring Keira Knightley for more info]), so they would certainly meet these stuff pretty soon... and for this to happen in the realm of metalheads IMO is much better than in a messed up bubble-world of non-metal "thing" with no attitude, without a strong bond between the fans (unlike fans of metal) etc. I mean, growing up on metal (+ classical music [I know it's strange, but the 2 have so many in common and actually metal is pretty much inspired by classical music too!]) is certainly better than growing up on anything else. Surely, you gotta listen to other stuff too, because you gotta be open, but have to stay on the path of rock and metal.
The girl singing Zombie is epic too... the techniques she uses require exceptional talent + lots of dedicated practice. There's not much more to say, if she keeps going, she may become a determining singer in the future, like Anneke or actually, like the vocalist of The Cranberries.
Btw I'm so happy to see that we metalheads won't be extinct soon :)
