I'll give this a go tomorrow! Great tips, thanks Damo 🎉
@@deathbreathskateboards and I’m sure you’ll get one in less time than it took me. Thanks Chris!
That looks like a fun one!
@@ChrisButtery despite it taking so long to get a few, and a sketchy few at that, it really is a fun trick. Not as dangerous as I thought either. I really want to try them on a double sided curb now. Thanks for the comment and happy new year.
I still have trouble w the board to hurricane grind. Trick tip please
@@HenrysPokeCorner it can be a little tricky. I’ll do a ‘How to’ on boardslide to hurricanes. Thanks for the comment!!
Well done! 🔥🔥🔥
What a spot mama Mia🤩
Bloody Good Info 👍
I gotta try this one! I never thought it was possible. Nice tips!
@@costaricaBL cheers. Chris has them pretty down. Good luck!
Thanks for the info 👍
Good stuff mate! Been getting back on the bmx and skateboard again after many years and found your channel, small world.. I play paintball with azza his a mad kent :p
@@HecTechFPV thank you. It’s always rad when people get back to skating after a break. Azza is awesome.
who wouldn't love that carpark for sessions
So glad he went through the corner. You guys have a great spot there.
Love it, when the rain goes away in 5 months ill give it a try
@@sonnyrico I feel ya!
You dont have to pick up the front truck.
I do them more proper and i keep my feet the same as a fs slappy.
My bro Jason here thinks he's better than us.
@galvanizedgnome ill post a fs feeb video by January with no front foot lift
@galvanizedgnome I'll post it by tomorrow 😈
Not a competition y’all, but appreciate the drive!
Pretty sure I was the 1000th subscriber... do I get a prize? :) Nice tutorial fellas. Will give em a try.
@@markguardiani1389 you can have my entire Death Breath, Ace tricks and Ricta wheels set up if your in Sydney and can meet up somewhere.
If your close to Newcastle, I can swipe his board and give it to you
Agree! Luckily I'm 51 now!...
What about kingpin is it possible to do without inverted? Because the kingpin always destroys the curb
It's more the "yoke" that rubs on this one. Well for me anyway. A quick rub of wax and you're good to go . Leaning back should also avoid getting pitched from a king pin digging in
@@Crew-tn8gx good point. Chris isn’t riding inverted, so yep, possible. I get your issue with destroying the curb but you gotta go with the accomplishments over the damages sometimes.
Thx for the idea!
Just the trick I wanted to learn! Thank you! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@SkateCrisis hope you get it, Homie
@@SkateCrisis awesome Homie
Sick thanks for the tips 🔥
Losi RULES - LUV U man!
i kept thinking how old is that brutal truth shirt, and did you see them at the hunter on hunter with damaged !
Come west you dog
damn, that's a bad one too
If you walked further to the next section under the bridge, there used to be a flat bar and a little quarter pipe, not sure if it's still there
@@dazzler360 I checked that out; there’s still some stuff there but it’s not in the best shape and I didn’t want to step on any local’s toes. I think a group clean-up and mini build is on the cards for that section. Such a rad spot. Thanks for the comment mate.
Haha I drove past when you guys were there and thought “was that skaters?!” Then saw Chris post it when I got home, can’t wait to skate it! , Chris kills it, he’s a Newcastle national treasure
@@tins_world299 cheers for the comment. Let me know what you think of the spot when you hit it up. Give Death Breath and Sore Losers Show a tag if you post any clips there.✌️
@ hell yeah man will do !
I definitely felt that
If ur feeling a bit cheeky jump the fence next to it there’s a little ledge I helped build! That means it’s pretty shit lmao
Sick deck! Did it cost much more for custom shape?
@@morbus1972 Thanks, all his boards are small batches and hand made. Customs obviously take more work but I don’t think they’re too much more. In my opinion, you can’t put a price on something unique like a one of a kind board. Talk to Chris though, he’ll give you accurate pricing as I don’t want to talk out of school on someone’s stuff - www.deathbreathskateboards.com/ Thanks for the comment bro!
Haha Damo!! It’s Tony from high school, how you been mate
@@mendaciousreality8459 I’ve been good mate. Cheers for the comment and hope you’re well.
@ Thank you mate, would you like to catch up sometime? I’m 4 weeks sober
@ sounds good mate.
@@TheSoreLosersShow where are you living these day? What’s the address?
Rowan Davis has clips here. From memory in Meadow. Maybe Connor Reeve aswell. Fun spot. Endless flat ground across the road at the netball courts aswell
Oh rad. Cheers mate.
That bank to wall looks awesome. Awesome shredding, I’m glad I came across ya channel mate.
Appreciated mate.
Dude that’s sick I drive past here everyday and think that would be a sick spot to build a diy skatepark
Stoked you’re local and hope to catch you there one weekend.
Nice work on the curbs. Will message for pin next time I'm up that way. Looks like a great spot. Shade too!
Please do! Hopefully there’s a bit more going on there when you visit,
Nice one, pal 👍
Thanks 👍
That looks soo fun. Im out west and where i live curbs are rare
It’s super fun mate. When you combine all the elements like, it being empty all the time, the overpass and the features in the spot - this is a really rare find. If you’re ever in the hunter/Newcastle I can highly recommended this place.
Thanks for extending that spot! So much fun already, with HEAPS of potential.
@@deathbreathskateboards thank you!!!
Thank you so much for this. I'm going to say this now, from my heart: Al Losi should have had it all, man. He's our guy, the hero and lineage originator. A different branch of the skateboard tree than Hawk, etc. Not that the Losi Line is better, it's just that it's our's. I love you, Losi, thank you for the inspiration, legend. Fuck Variflex for bullying their nephew into not fulfilling his dreams. [Enter Jeff Jones and the Jones Brigade. Real classy.] 'Veryfuct' is my new skate co. Any skaters out there want in as team riders?? Yes, we are going to bite the hell out of all the classic (and cheeseball) Variflex graphics/ logos. Eg: "Meth Clouds" bushings
Ow Uso! That's the worst fall right on the spine from the boardsilde are you okay?
All good mate
Yo, is that a kizlyar knife? Super sick!
Dude, I am going to show up tomorrow with all my friends who are learning how to skate, and we are going to bring our wax, our lunch, and even our parents, so they can film us, and cheer us on. 😮 thank you for exposing this spot. I hope you expose even more spots for us to skate.
@@sk8fm448 as always, I appreciate your comment. More people should have wax on them when they go skating. Just one thing; I prefer to call it ‘sharing’ spots. 😉
I'm coming back... 32 years off a board. It will take some work. Thanks for the video 🔥👍👍
That’s a huge break! Hope all goes well and let me know if you want to see any particular ‘How to’ or ‘Product Check’ content.
@@TheSoreLosersShow I'll do that, Cheers mate 👍👍
Nice

Grew up skating Crowy and Stleonards .....so cool she's had a resurgence, ....Gotta hit that Bank, Thanks Damo
@@edlahm3001 thanks for the comment. There’s so much more in the surrounding blocks now it’s crazy.
Dude, that is sooooo local to me! I'm going to hit it up with my daughter.
@@thehandleiwantedwasntavailable that’s rad! Happy that you’re aware of something close now.
Used to skate this car park about 12 years ago when I lived up the street. Ripping fun spot, as is the big IBM building at the top of the hill.
@@peppertom13 A mate of mine said he skated the carpark in the late 90’s. It’s rad when spots have a bit of history for peeps. Cheers for the comment.
