Today's video we are recording Navan Driving Test Route 2. In this Navan test route we explore a slightly different side to Navan than the first Navan test route.

In this Navan test route we tackle big roundabouts but also a really narrow roundabout in Navan village. It would be really easy to mount that roundabout in Navan village so you need to be very accurate.
I pick up a few grade 2 faults for speeding and he also said I got a grade 2 for observation moving off which is completely untrue. I always move off from a parked position correctly using GOSHO
This was a tricky Navan driving test route and I recommend the driving test route for Navan a few times just to get used to what I am saying

11:30 The grade 2 mark for observation was wrong here as you did look second time over the shoulder. You can see in the video the tester was looking down / didn't see your first look over the shoulder. And this would make you wonder if that was a real driving test - that would be an unfair grade 2.

Of course it wasn’t a real driving test it was a test route

I only recognised 1 of those roads……. It’s certainly not the Navan of the 1960s anymore

@@admdrivingschool5033 ……… I also was there in 1979 and it was the same as my childhood in the 60s.
Then last time I visited, it was about 2010 and it had changed…….. but I only saw a couple of major roads that changed.

Oh yeah, that roundabout that doesn't look like a roundabout 😅 I got confused in there in my lessons hahaha I was like this has no end 🙈 you can't see the other side!

At the end, why the tester mentined that you didn't use hand signals? Where would have that possible in thia test? Which part the examiner expect a hand signal from us? My assumption till date was they ask hand signals as part of theory only. Please elaborate on that if possible.
