Hey guys, in this video we will show you how to fix car remote control button that does not work. People sometimes tend to push the buttons too hard with their nails which will deattach the button from the circuit board as a result it will not work. IF YOU WANT TO FIX IT RIGHT USE A SOLDDERING GUN; however, you have to be pretty good with the soldering gun or you will mess up the remote. We used a toothpick a minimal amount of superglue to attach it in place and that way it works DO NOT PUT GLUE WHERE THE BUTTON CONTACT THE CIRCUIT BOARD OR IT WILL NOT WORK. We use this method right before we are ready to buy a new remote that way even if it does not work we do not feel bad about it :) So far I have fixed 20+ buttons so far.

Thank you for your video, it was extremely helpful. I was able to open my car remote and it had some green oil and I cleaned it using alcohol and the buttons started pressing nicely, but I did have to order a new cover because from pressing so much with my nails it ruined the plastic but besides that, works great.

super glue emits gas which can ruin circuit boards dont use it on your remotes

Get a soldering iron and solder it on. never use glue for this. Also Superglue vil destroy the PCB over time så this is a bad fix.
