@@IaninLondon Thanks again! Others have commented, but you’re really providing a great service. By the way, unfortunately, Japan has stifling regulations. Drones under the Mini weight were okay before, but now they’ve extended the regulations to include the Neo as well. It’s exasperating.

Hi Ian great tutorial us usual. Ian I have an issue that I need help with. I have a mini 4 pro amd goggles 2 with motion controller 2. When I'm flying with goggles I see a message saying not using bound device. ? But when I fly with my RC2 controller all is fine.. Not sure what to do.... I've unbound everything and not sure what steps to follow to get everything working together properly? It only happens when I swap over from RC2 to goggles vice versa. Not sure if it's the motion 2 controller or goggles not binding fully? Any help would be greatly appreciated. 😊
It's the Motion Controller that controls the drone and needs binding. Have the Goggles on, the Mini 4 Pro on and the MOtion Controller on. Long press the power button on the MIni 4 Pro and then long press the motion controller power button as well; both should make a sudden bleep and start fast flashing and pair up within a few seconds.
Thanks again Ian. Re pairing with Goggles 3. I get what you said about pressing the goggles power button to enter pairing mode, do you also (at the same time) press and hold the power button on the Neo?
So basically you need the goggles no matter what to pair a controller with the DJI Neo? I just bought it and wondering which controllers I can use without having to buy the goggles yet as well. Please let me know asap🙏🏻 I appreciate this video
No; bind them once to the controller, then you just flip the firmware by tapping 'connection guide' and side swiping to the picture of the mode you're about to fly. 10 second job.
How long does the drone switching process take in real life for goggles? Thinking about buying only a set of goggles for neo and avata 2. But worrying about having to spend a couple of minutes to switch every time..
It literally takes around 15-20 seconds. But you need the Motion Controller too or the FPV RC remote. You can't use just the goggles with the RC remote.
jst a quick question will the controller only use one profile and not muiltple profiles . my 4k mini is linked up to my RC-N1C controller but i cant link up my neo also.
I don't know about the N1 remotes; I do know the RC (Mavic 3, Mini 3 Pro and MIni 3) do handle multiple models but you have to select it and change it over ( literally a 5 second job on the remote). Same for the RC2 for the Neo, Flip, Air 3 & S and Mini 4 Pro
I think it's down to not being able to have two versions of the fly app controlling the same drone. The goggles N3 has the fly app embedded, as does the RC2, so you would have two versions trying to do the same job

You woudl have to try pairing the supplied remote with the Goggles 3 by putting both in pairing mode; then try and pair the Goggles 3 to the Neo as per this video. unsure if the goggles 3 will pair with a different remote that isn't the Motion or FPV RC 3.
@@IaninLondon Is that for sure? I was told several times that it would need "DJI FPV Controller 3" to enable Acro mode on the Neo. N3 controller (as included with the FlyMore Combo) would allow flying stabilized mode only. That's really confusing 🤔
