To plane spot at SYR especially at ground level (E.g.) cell phone lot you must learn how and when to anticipate the shots ahead of time and be quick about it. Miss it and you have to wait for obstructions to clear especially those light poles to hopefully get additional shots. The same goes for the upper level of the parking garage but a little more leeway there. My FlightAware postings over the years do not have obstructions in the pics after I learned what to do at SYR or elsewhere. Your video Anderson was just fine for the weather. In fact, there have been a couple times I parked in the business lot across from Millionair and took some out the car window in the same weather. Not great but better than being skunked cause of the weather.

Do you record archived ATC and then add it to your video, or do you record your video and listen to live ATC at the same time?
