Well definitely a bit of Thelma & Louise there. Fabulous video, and I think a good, frugal trip. Emotional at the end, but well done girls. ❤️❤️
@patriciapadgett4696 Ahh, glad you enjoyed it! ! Thank you so much 😊😊
👌👌👌👍....I Cannot think of a better way to spend a road trip, than with a bevy of beauties like you two. Lets hope u-tube revenue covers the costs, or most of it👍..............😍
@kevint7851 🤣🤣 thanks for that! Well, that would be amazing if it did cover it one day! Nowhere near at the moment!! But we had to drive the car back to the UK anyway, and we had a great time doing it!
Lovely Spanish landscapes!
What a beautiful and wonderful video to watch your journey from Spain to England. I felt that I was part of your journey driving through various towns and different scenery. I think the commentary was perfectly handled and I will certainly follow your progress in future. So big thank you from me xx
@baronstjohn Glad you enjoyed it and we really appreciate the lovely comment! 😊😊
Beautiful Spain. I felt homesick for Normandy. The farmers are paid extra to keep traditional brown and white Normandy cows. Loved this road trip. Thank you.
@99Narnia oh that's lovely to know that about the cows! Glad you enjoyed the video! 😊😊
Love the music played throughout this video very interesting journey Bet you were glad to be back home and see your Rob❤
@JoanBishop-wm6sy Yes I was !! Glad you enjoyed the music😊😊

Great job. Pleased you both loved France where we retired to 13 years ago. Bless you all.
@mototakahe836 How lovely to have retired to France! I think I've just been so in love with Spain that I forgot how amazing France is as well. Blessings to you too! 😊
so beautiful. Thank you, both of you, for this video.
@@gusinthecloud Thank you! 😊😊

@Sharon-l9r4t Thank you so much! 😊😊
OMG 😲, Did you say you stopped @ Cuenca?? Is where I come from!! I grew up in a village in Cuenca and lived in Cuenca for 6 years before moving to England. Good luck with your new adventure
Thank you! We loved Cuenca, are definitely going back there another day!
Great adventure video ladies👍🏻
@kevinpeters5589 Glad you liked it !! 😁
What a amazing amount of countryside in Spain and France to drive through, do hope the car has recovered from the trip.
@TedCarolCollins yes thank you, it's fine now! 😁
Bonito video. Ojala vinieran más ingleses a España y se instalaran aqui. "Beautiful video. I wish more English people would come to Spain and settle here."
@@AngelesRior Nos encantan el pais y la gente es muy simpatica! 😊😊
Feeling Nostalgic now!!
Hi ladies great video you did well and the cost was not bad so thankyou ❤monica/England
@royrolfe4338 Hi Monica, thank you and glad you enjoyed it! 😊😊
Thats was nice trip ladies thanks for sharing and good to have you back home. But what car and model did you drive. If you don't mind. Keep up the good work 👍
@jafer1973 Hi it's a Toyota Yaris. Nothing fancy but very comfortable and quite a lot to the gallon 😊😊
@CasaBlueHills Toyota is good and reliable car, i had about 4 Toyotas they are the Best. I'm going to Spain in April
@jafer1973 yes we are very pleased with it. Hope you have a lovely time 😊😊
Cheaper to get the ferry from Portsmouth or Plymouth to northern Spain Bilbao or Santander
@user-un3wp2kg5f yes it is, the reason we drove this time was because we were hoping to do a bit of sightseeing but due to the problem with thd car, and the the traffic in Brittany we didn't get to do much.
Mejor a Santander, mi ciudad. Creo que merece la pena ahorrarse esos kilómetros por Francia para hacer un poco de turismo por Cantabria. No soy imparcial, pero tampoco sé mentir.
I drive from Scotland to quite near where you are every year. But we take the Plymouth to Santander ferry.
@kevinharkins1022 yes we have taken the Portsmouth to Santander or Bilbao a few times when we've visited Spain before we bought the house. It was a lovely and peaceful but I'm a bit nervous about having a rough crossing. How has it been for you?
That was a weird route🎉 to euro tunnel, not the quickest, you could have crossed from Le Havre to the U.K. , but your choice
@davidclarke7728 yes we went that way because we were hoping to stop off and do sightseeing in Brittany, like how we went to the beach in Spain, but the traffic was so bad going through Brittsny we ended up just sitting in traffic jsms.
Wat part of spain, as im thinking of buying in jaen region, how long did it take to drive and wat tolls and crossing hou do x
@johanneslaven2018 our house is about an hour from Albacete. For this video we took a bit of an indirect route but up to our UK house which is a few miles from Tamworth in the UK we normally do it in 2 and a half days. It would be probably be similar for you, depending on where you live in the UK
@@CasaBlueHills Ahhh! You also have a house in the UK? So you're not going to live permanently in Spain? And what are you going to do with your house in Spain when you're not here? And with the one in the UK when you're not there?
If you come to Spain to live permanently is OK, enjoy, but if not, you are not welcomed.
@@vehementegomez we want to live here permanently but at the moment we can't afford to.
You could travel to asturias and take a ferry to england ,its shorter
@joaquindiaz7818 Yes we will probably do that another time! This time we wanted to do some sightseeing 😁
U tube is not notifying me when you put your video out even though I'm subscribed, I don't know why.
@mariatajes9054 First of all, thank you very much for subscribing x When a person uploads a video you get a choice of alerting subscribers, or just putting the video into UA-cam's general pile. For the first 8 or so videos we released, we published them to subscribers, but only about a quarter of subscribers watched the videos. If only a few of a channel's subscribers choose to watch the video, UA-cam works out that the video isn't very good so it doesn't suggest it to anyone else. So for the 2 most recent videos, the Christmas one and the Finishing Projects video, I didn't publish them to subscribers, and they have got the most views so far. As this Journey video was a bit different and not about me and Rob doing renovation, I thought subscribers might not find it as interesting l,so I didn't publish it to subscribers. If you follow us on Instagram, from now on we will put an alert of when we release new videos. Also for all the videos which are us two doing renovation we will release that to subscribers from now on! Hope that explains it😊😊
I thought you did really well
@colinward8374 thank you 😊😊
Thanks for sharing, France looks lovely. Roads are in a better state than UK's😮
Definitely! ☺
@CasaBlueHills Ahhh! You also have a house in the UK? So you're not going to live permanently in Spain? And what are you going to do with your house in Spain when you're not here? And with the one in the UK when you're not there? Interesante.
@susanaescriba977 At the moment we can't afford to live in Spain full time because English people can't work in Spain and you you have to have a lot of savings to pay for a Visa. One day we will live in Spain all the time 😊🙏
@CasaBlueHills We Spaniards already know about the 90 days. That's why we look with curiosity at your movements when you buy a house and talk about living there permanently, only to later discover that the rented tourists are starting to arrive.
@susanaescriba977 We are very happy for any of our family to stay there, and close friends, but we definitely won't be renting it out.
you girls are flying and those hills are steep... Be careful
@deborahp-q3w 😊😊 thank you, but don't worry, I don't ever speed when I'm driving!
Just what Spain needs more immigrants.

How so, when she says she's driving home.. to UK?
@anthonyferris8912 I didn't say I was driving home. I said I was driving back to the UK.
Amazing the lengths people do with a camera to make money

I bet they voted for Brexit !
@@Guest01010 I am the last person on earth who would ever have voted for Brexit!!!
I bet she didn't. She likes the best of both worlds. Easy access to her holiday home and her life in the UK.
