This SDA doctrine tend to be noisome to me. Jesus Christ in Mathew 24 and the apostles at least here or there spoke prophetically concerning later times. They prophesied the coming of false prophets among the many things that would come till the end. Please would an honest adventist scripturally prove the coming of '"great prophets" like Ellen G. White in the new testament bible? Secondly, will an adventist please prove to me from the NEW TESTAMENT by KJV version that Saturday is the true Sabbath and that it's observance is mandatory for one to be accorded righteousness? Kindly consider also that the calendar we use today (Gregorian Calendar) is far different from the ancient Biblical Calendar in various major ways that can't be overlooked. Thirdly, it's a must for converts to VOW (The 13 Baptismal Vows) before they are accepted as full members of the faith, where is the scriptural basis for this (vowing) as a mandatory requisite of becoming a member to the body of Christ? Fourthly, you have what you call "health evangelism", and "support for secular education" where you open schools and hospitals, where in the NT scripture do you derive authority and mandate to do such. If no scriptural support then for whom are you doing this irrelevant mission. The corrupt earthly systems pursue exactly what you do too, difference? It has come to the mainstream overtime and has refined its doctrine to reflect mainstream evangelical teachings, except in the area of the Sabbath. But back to the point, one way to identify any cult is when it claims to be the true church and that everyone else is false.
