Excellent sermon, one that is almost never heard in our SDA churches.
Many churches are asleep, and as he rightly implies in this sermon, many of the dedicated SDAs are thinking selfishly of themselves, how the Sunday Law is going to affect them, and refuse to do anything to be the salt of the earth in their neighborhood today. This is most glaringly obvious by the fact that many of us SDAs are indifferent to the demise of the "least of these my brethren" in the womb, and in fact, we, as a Church, support this most wicked of actions!

Listening to your sermon brings to my mind SDA pastors building vacation cabins to relax while asking their congregations to help with mission work. The hypocrisy of some of our church leaders is sinful and is apparent by the way they stand in the pulpit and brag about all of their possessions and they reek of pride. God sees the widow sending tithe and gifts from her meager monthly stipend while those with everything this world has to offer cry for more funds for their church projects. God sees it all. We who love the Lord will continue to give for His cause, and he will take care of the rest. ~Amen~

Yes...we should be living in the country and working the cities from outpost which have been equipped to be home churches when these large churches fail...and they will. When everything goes bust...there will be no money for tithes...and most like no electricity to run city churches/schools. We needed to listen to EGW and been in the country a long time ago...to say anything contrary...is contrary to what God's prophetess said. Our bread and water are only sure during the Great Time of Trouble...and only if we are truly walking with Jesus...and listening to His prophets...otherwise...we are in trouble.

@@phillipbear7630 I was concerned when I thought he mentioned something about not being in the country and preparing as we were told to do a while back. I'm truly concerned for men to stand in the pulpit and don't shout the warning correctly for these days...Basically...we have always supposed to be living in the country...city living is not fit place to raise kids properly...Country living is difficult and builds strong characters...if one is truly walking with Jesus.

Satan has already shown up and the time of trouble is impending "when you see Jerusalem compassed with armies" Lk 21:20 because "Jerusalem is a representation of what the church will be if it refuses to walk in the light God has given." 8T 67.

Correction: The Holy Spirit will not have a hard time getting in to the person (or people), however each will be so stubborn with rejecting God. He’s a Wonderful God.

Pastor I go through hardship everyday! My church brethren are not helping the less fortunate in the congregation. It’s sad.
I need help with a devil problem and people from certain church's bully, pick , and I too scared to go to church because of what the people of the church will do, so I have to protect myself with a stick or a ninja turtle, I hate what people have become and what I let people make me become, pastor, u are right love is the key with Jesus Christ and God I wish I could talk to you and see how we can get me on the right track

Yes...our bread and water will be sure during the Great Tribulation...the little time of trouble is different...that is why we should be living in the country...growing our own food...for famine is coming...as well as wars...and more pestilence...and most are not truly walking with Jesus...or they would have heeded His prophetess...and been in the country...years ago.

E.G.W even says God could even use the Ravens to bring us our bread like they did with Elijah. Or rain manna from heaven. The little time of trouble is Jacobs little time of trouble. CCH 281. Has anyone here every read "Country Living"...or anything EGW wrote on the fact that we need to be living in the country growing our own food...cause our provision is only sure at the very end when God's judgements fall on the earth. Now we are in the little time of trouble...which could last for a good while...and our bread and water are not sure during this time...are you prepared to live on what you have for a year or more and prepared to help others...if not...I would suggest that is presumption...and not faith...and you might want to study up and prepare while there is still a little time. When the banks fail...when war starts...when the dollar folds...it will be too late. We should not be building in the city now...never really should be anyway...not in these times.

@@billiemayer469 Yes...and most food is extremely difficult to grow ...even in good times...if people wait till "sunday laws" to move...they will not find a country home...and sure not one where they can plant seeds and grow food. Hubby and I have been organic gardening for over 30 years...and would starve if we had to live off what we can grow. So we have to prepare....as best we can...when we can...if we can....for ourselves and others. What we lack...if we are truly walking with Jesus...He will supply. Seeds are only good if a person has plenty of them...a place to grow food...plenty of fertilizer...energy to till/plant/harvest/can...a place to get water in case of drought....etc. Hopefully...many have prepared as the Lord told us to ...via EGW...and are prepared to be of service to the Lord when the time comes....I truly see more people on "prepping" channels who are preparing to be of service than what I see in SDA churches.
If there are children in the congregation you are doing something right because most churches don’t have any , or have very few . Children are the heritage of the Lord Psalms 127:3 . Without children the church is dying.
Love the honesty; “pp in His day were good at church; they just didn’t care above anybody”. The SDA church is a pathetic mess today, to which He wants to vomit them out. 30 years in church and tried to get 1, anyone to teach me the bible; nope, not one willing! Praise God for getting me out of church; thankfully Dr Paulien helped, and been serving Him fervently since. Sharing this.

Church persecution very severe with violence, abuses, etc, when on front line trying to fill the churches (hard total self-sacrificing work); lots of jealousy, etc. against mission. In addition to zealously cleaning their kitchens, dining areas every week. Meanwhile church pp just pride themselves in “being” served. As if God doesn’t take notice!
Did you ever stop to think that many you asked to teach you didn’t know it themselves? How is it you were an SDA for 30 years and blame other members for not teaching you the scriptures? All you had to do was to go to your Pastor, or Amazing Facts or Amazing Discoveries or even the Adventist Book Store and buy a book on how to study the Bible. If you want to learn it, read it! Buy a Strong’s Concordance or use the free online Strong’s Concordance and look up topics. Go to a Daniel and Revelation seminar. Your excuse of not knowing your Bible because no one taught you isn’t going wash in the judgement as you should have asked for the Holy Spirit to enlighten you and God would have sent it like He did to William Miller - who taught him? The church has many problems and many people who are members in todays church will certainly not be saved, but blaming the church because no one would “teach” you is a little disingenuous.
I am sad you felt unloved and uncared for. The thought did enter my mind, even now... do youhave others you are teaching yourself? Each of us knows a little about something that another does not. We can share a little bit of what we know. Blessings! 🙏

Why Brother Kelly are you not reading from the KJV Bible so as to unify those in your congregation and those who watch your videos online? Using any translation, other than the Authorized Version KJV Bible, is playing into the hands of demons and the fallacy of human wisdom.
Amen...others things...like not telling folks they need to be preparing ...since our bread and water are only sure during the great tribulation. During the little time of trouble(...which could last for a fairly long time...)we were supposed to be living in the country...and growing our own food...and preparing our home to be of service when things so south ...shortly...by using God's method's of healing and sharing Jesus with our neighbors...when they will finally listen...we will be able to do the work that God gave us to do over 160 years ago...we are told it is the only way ...in the end...that people will be reached. To say anything else goes against scripture and SOP. God told us what to do...we can't do anything else and be safe...would be presumption. I think the pastor does not realize that most in his congregation and online are not really walking with Jesus...and will starve if they listen to him.
That’s a very Catholic attitude you have. The papacy taught that the Bible could only be read in Latin, a language the people didn’t understand. Now there many many people that can’t understand the old English of the KJV and you want to discourage the reading of other translations? kJV is not the only version we can read. For one, most the world doesn’t speak English, what do they read? Must they learn English first? There are many credible and accurate translations and many bad paraphrases to be avoided. But a legitimate translation done my multiple scholars from different denominations and transcripts is safe. We can trust God preserves His word in the language of the people.
@@stuart249 Then they need to read the right type of Bible...not one that has been tampered with by Rome...as ALL modern versions have been. You change a little here and a little there and before long ...you have a whole different gospel that what God's unerring word actually says. We can trust Satan to confuse folks to where they will believe the broad way is the best way.
Dearest Pastor Kelly. At around minute 23: 30 you said that before the time of trouble, Satan will appear as Christ. I was told to contend with you on this. Satan appears as Christ after the close of probation. This can be proven in the great controversy because at the beginning of that chapter it says Michael stands up. This is why the prophecy says if it were possible he would deceive the elect. Before the close of probation, Satan appears as an angel of light in the form of a stately fair person that the world looks up to in reverence. This is recordedin early writings. This stately fair person leads the world with lightning speed “to perdition“. The same exact phrases used for the eighth king of revelation chapter 17 verse 11. Pope Francis the Jesuit is the eighth king since they regained their title of king and their seat of the dragon, within the seven Hills of Rome.he is possessed by Satan and is leading the world with lightning to perdition. This is Satan appearing as an angel of light. You are well beloved God bless.
It was my understanding that satan will appear as a dazzling being not in the form of the pope. I think it was Ivor Myers who pointed out that satan will take matters in his own hands after the papacy is unmasked for who she really is, after the governments of the world gave their power unto the pope and realized what she has done to the world that Satan is ready to appear as a glorious shiny saviour of the world.

That is an interesting post, thank you. My first thought was "wow why do I keep running into this question?"
My second thought was: what man deems important isn't always what God deems important. Adventists are big into timelines. We like to distill the complexity and nuance of prophecy into a tidy order of events. But God didn't give us charts. He gave us words, and then he gives understanding of those words when it is needed... which seems to be what you are searching for.
I don't know the answer but there are a number of quotations that seem to suggest that Satan's act of personating Christ occurs both before and after the close of probation. Or perhaps the more nuanced way of understanding: Satan's personation occurs THROUGH the close of probation. It is, after all, Satan's last ditch effort to deceive, which as you point out, is fruitless after the Divine decree "He who holy let him be holy still..."

I believe God wants us to understand what is important, not what we think is important. Perhaps it's the who, what and why that matters, not the when and where. Thoughts?
@@mbaminnocentchinweike2922 The word "Christ" in verse 5 simply means anointed. Jesus is saying that many will come calling themselves Christian and claiming to have been anointed. And that's exactly what we see in the Christian world today.
Those kids talking in the congregation is COMPLETELY DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE.
