Roger Glenn Ensemble at Jazz School in Berkeley, CA

I had the pleasure of performing (on four congas in the great Patato Valdez style) with the Roger Glenn Ensemble at the Jazz School in Berkeley in November of 2012. The talented lineup was as follows: Bob Karty on piano, David Belove on bass, Phil Thompson on drums, Rolando Morales on guitar, and Roger Glenn on flute and hand percussion. Playing this style of music with this group of musicians was healing for my soul and spirit.

was at the DMHS Englewood high school class of 64 reunion last night. Roger played solo flute, 3 songs---GREAT. He emphasized that his friendships and education in Englewood helped him tremendously in his music career.
