Cameron Niemela I don't know if they make big gun pipes for 2 strokes but if they do use any big gun pipe as long as it is red so it matches the Honda color
You should definitely go with a bills exhaust there quality and look super sick !!! I don’t know what’s so awesome about your videos but there awesome. Great editing !!
Ok so you you have cleaned up the frame all nice and shiny...is there a way to seal it and stop oxidisation? Do you just clean them and leave it like that...? A frame is not something you are wanting to be "pulling out" every weekend, if you know what I mean. I was thinking about some kind of sealant...? And on another topic - what are the possibilities of customising such a frame with colours...anyone tried anodizing one?
I'm an Apprentice motorcycle mechanic in the UK and I love your videos! We only really get to work on new off road bikes so its great to learn the inside and outs of off road bikes. Id love to know half as much as you!
I just did my KX 250 F frame last night using Comet cleanser and Eagle wading aluminum polish in a rubber tub in front of a wood stove (I’m in the Colorado mountains and it’s snowing). The bike needed a top end so being somewhat ocd I took it down to the frame. I bought it used but it is super clean winter project.
Rebuilding a 1998 cr250 looking to upgrade front and rear brake master cylinders I thought in one of your videos you mentioned a guy should upgrade to newer equipment is that possible. Your videos have been a life saver and your builds are freaking awesome
Hi I’m currently making a rep of your Honda 🤦🏾😂👊🏾 I’ve had the frame sub frame and swing arm vapour blaster are they factory anodised ? If so I’m guessing I will need to re anodise them to stop corrosion? Thanks in advance
Love all the details you include in the videos. Video quality looks great. You list pretty much all the things you use. You are my go to for restoring my 2002 cr125r.
SamsonAdams I haven’t ran one on my bikes but my dad all ways ran one and I’m building a 01 cr125 right now and so I plan on getting on you can see my build on my ig clay___badger and this spring I will be building a 04 cr250 with a 01 motor
I love the look of the Pro Circuit works pipes on the CRs... Love the videos man keep up the good work, You actually inspired me to start rebuilding and flipping bikes as well. Thanks man
I believe these aluminum frames have a coating to prevent oxidization. Taking it off might cause some oxidization but if you keep it shiny and nice you shouldnt have any issues and it will just get a bit dull over time. I buffed my main down frame tube under the gas tank on my 07 CRF 450R and never saw any issues
Hi from north Idaho, great videos! Motivated me to get all my little projects going. Got a minor rebuild on a 98 CR250 and a complete build on a 04 RM125. Thanks for all the tips.
Nice job on the CR-250 Did you buy it used and wanted to take on the rebuild project or is this someones bike? How can you have water coming from the pipe in the ground in the dead winter? One would think it would be frozen .
I ordered Mag wheel cleaner and that scotch brite pad today so im not jealous all the time over how your work comes out. Hopefully mine will look the same.
Just found your channel and I love everything about it! So simple and very educational for future shop mech like me. I love what your doing man and keep it up. For sure subbing and liking every single video. Also run a sweet FMF golf series with a shorty silencer on that baby! I run it on my mint ‘07 CR250 and love the way it rides!
Great tip! Actually in the process right now rebuilding completely of my 06 crf250r. The frame is disgusting, will def have to check this stuff out. Love your videos! Channel has come a long way since 2010 ish!
An FMF Gnarly Pipe, combined with a shorty silencer. I had a 2003 Honda CR250 and that setup was awesome. I absolutely loved it. Also I love the videos. Great job and keep up the awesome work!
What sort of brushes are you using there? Steel bristle ones or all synthetic bristles? Cheers matw look awesome! Will be doijg my 2001 cr125 this week
Wow mate what a superb job and you would think it would need polish to look so good. Iv hot a Suzuki gsxr I'm striping over Christmas and it got a full alloy frame and swing arm, you'v givin me great tips to get the look I want, thanks for your vids I'm finding them great to watch chilling at night and very helpful too. Keep them up. 👍
Hey Cameron. Another awesome upload buddy. Can you use the red scotchbrite pad to clean up wheels as well. I've bought a spare set for my CRF450 but they are a bit dull
Hey Cameron, Have you ever heard of vapor blasting? I had just come across a video and found out about it the other day. It looks to be much more efficient, quicker and probably cheaper. Time = Money. It definitely produces that fresh brand new look that you are always going for, you should check into it. Casey
the dents in alu u can clean upp whit fine abrasive paper from coarse to fine to finish whit scotsbride for uniform look. Also u can polish it whit cotton weel and (bleu) wax stick polishing compound, helps prevent alu corosion becose of the smood finish and looks very shiny! nice video’s u are a real mecanik ,and very aducassional :-)
phat bills pipe man, loving the vids new around here and you inspire me so much to do stuff with my dirtbike sucks it has a crack crank case and im too young and dont have any of the tools to fix it but keep up the great vids man
Just a suggestion but I think a great business venture for you would be to open up a winter cleaning and tuning services when I assume part sales are slower. you could charge a fixed amount for a frame strip down and clean up as if you’re tearing down a bike. leaving the engine alone unless otherwise needed. Just a thought
Try to find a pro circuit pipe in the bare finish. Get it all RC looking. I have the same bike and I wish I would have bought a pro circuit. Bike is a mid to top end bike... So the pro circuit pipe will compliment that characteristic. Your vids have been super helpful with my build. Thanks so much!!
Love watching your videos! You do a great job at cleaning all of your parts! You should go with a full bills pipe they look great and perform even better!
So on the upper tubes of the frame about where the tank sits there are two grooves in it one on each side. Why? My 00 has this too and I can't find a reason why... Thanks man
Hey Cameron if you have any broken parts and don't Wanna do a give away with them I'd be more than happy to take them off your hands. I'm a young mechanic too and your one of my biggest inspirations. Like everytime I'm not watching one of your videos I'm in the garage turning wrenchs. So stay motivated and stay litt my friend. And btw on these cr's a nice fmf fatty with a pro circut r304 sounds really nice it gives it that nice ping in mid throttle and you notice a huge difference all across the power board. But anyway have a great day and god bless
Wow. Simply amazing! Now bring back some gloss with cleaner wax on the fenders and graphics on that 125 and your set! I would go with an OEM pipe. So you can complete this with a modern day oem build! If you must do aftermarket, Bills. Just to be different. FMF and PC is so cliché. I know their good but everyone has one or the other!
Sorry to comment on an old post but my frame which is the same has kind of corrosion or embellishment at the head tube where the alloy is a little different.Could I polish it out, because some say no...thanks
i would say you should get a full bud racing exaust system, they are reliable, decent price, and they sound and look so good you would wish you found out about them earlier (unless you already know ;D)
I have an important question as I am taking appart my 2009 crf 450 and trying to clean up everything like you. Doesn't it remove the nickel (or other surface treatment) that the frame has by using Scotch brite on it ? Will it corode quicker ?
Yes the frame part right next to ur boot is gonna look worse than before u used the scotch bright after just 1 session of riding and all the other parts you are gonna be able to scratch with ur fingernail. After every wash ur gonna need to spend at least 15min scrubbing down the scuffed up surface the aluminum also stains much easier so ur gonna have to scrub of that too once in a while, not worth it looks like complete shit after the first session, And thx for ruining my tm125 frame Cameron
Get your scotch brite pads here!

Fmf gnarly pipe
Bills pipes
Cameron Niemela I don't know if they make big gun pipes for 2 strokes but if they do use any big gun pipe as long as it is red so it matches the Honda color
do you know what kind of "grain size" (grit) these pads have in comparison to normal sandpaper? 120 grade, 360 grade, or more?
Hey can you use one of those pad on the plastics
Full bills exhaust with twin silencers!! Love the cr build. Looks beautiful. Love the editing!!! Keep it up👍🏼
Mike C twin silencers would be terrible
You should definitely go with a bills exhaust there quality and look super sick !!! I don’t know what’s so awesome about your videos but there awesome. Great editing !!

Fmf shorty with fmf gold series
Hi I’m currently making a rep of your Honda 🤦🏾😂👊🏾 I’ve had the frame sub frame and swing arm vapour blaster are they factory anodised ? If so I’m guessing I will need to re anodise them to stop corrosion? Thanks in advance
What did you come up with in the end? Do you need to anodise them or not. I have the same question haha
Hey Cameron keep up the good work love your vids
i loved the fmf gold series gnarly pipe and a fmf shorty silencer on my 2 stroke ktm, it a must for this build. !!best sounding 2 stroke pipe ever!!
Bills Pipes MX2
One of the best purchases i’ve ever made and I think a Pro Circuit pipe would be prefect for the bike. Love these types of videos!
Works Pro circuit all the way. get that factory look!
Love all the details you include in the videos. Video quality looks great. You list pretty much all the things you use. You are my go to for restoring my 2002 cr125r.
Thanks Michael!
Everyone always has fmf or Pro Circuit. Get a full Bills Exhaust
roostmx 😂😂
I had bills on my 125. Just as good as the other pipes just not as popular.
SamsonAdams I haven’t ran one on my bikes but my dad all ways ran one and I’m building a 01 cr125 right now and so I plan on getting on you can see my build on my ig clay___badger and this spring I will be building a 04 cr250 with a 01 motor

You should run a fmf with a shorty
moto brain No, you shouldnt run fmf shorty on 250cc dirt bike
Pate you ever look up Ronnie mac idk if they make that pipe for that year but he runs a shorty and a knarly I think not sure
Pate you ever look up Ronnie mac idk if they make that pipe for that year but he runs it 1998 and 2003 same size?
moto brain i mean shorty will rape your ears if you have it on dirt bike
Pate but they sound sick

bills pipes look sooooo good the piece by piece welding looks amazing
Hi Cameron, What could we use to brighten up an FMF pipe that is discolored? Thanks, again.
Stay safe you guys , saw your weather looks bad . Another great vid.
Great video and a great finish. How do you protect the frame after this, have you left on the anodizing?
An FMF Gnarly Pipe, combined with a shorty silencer. I had a 2003 Honda CR250 and that setup was awesome. I absolutely loved it. Also I love the videos. Great job and keep up the awesome work!

I ran a PC Works pipe on my '02 with shorty silencer and VForce reeds. Looks like you have quite a bit more snow than we do inn central WA.
that looks soooooo clean !!! i seriously want a cr250. if i get one im probably gonna try the same thing !
Wow mate what a superb job and you would think it would need polish to look so good. Pro Circuit Works has always been my favorite 2 stroke pipe
Hey Cameron,
Have you ever heard of vapor blasting? I had just come across a video and found out about it the other day. It looks to be much more efficient, quicker and probably cheaper. Time = Money. It definitely produces that fresh brand new look that you are always going for, you should check into it.

Can never go wrong with fmf but switching to pro circuit this week on my 02 250

Cameron that frame looks amazing !! Keep up the good work...
Hi Cameron! if I have no access to the mag cleaner in my country, what other product do you recomend?
This should be mandatory for all CR owners. Yes this includes me. Great how to.
What kind of simple green do you use? The purple stronge stuff or the original
As always Dude... You Rock, G'Day again from Melbourne Australia
phat bills pipe man, loving the vids new around here and you inspire me so much to do stuff with my dirtbike sucks it has a crack crank case and im too young and dont have any of the tools to fix it but keep up the great vids man
Are you big enough now?
Nice job on the frame bud. Id go with the Scalvinie pipe and carbon silencer
Gabe Williams Productions people build project bikes over the winter so I think he's sitting pretty with his parts business!
Hi Cameron, would you mind linking to that blue/grey scrub brush you used with the degreaser. Love your work, thank you!!
Run an FMF. Just bought a Powercore 4 for my Honda and love it.
I didn't see you spray it on the swingarm, but can that eagle one mag wheel cleaner be used on the entire swingarm?
On my 02 CR250 I run a Pro circuit works pipe with a type 296 silencer. It’s a pretty good setup for motocross/GP races. Sounds kick ass to🤘🏼
For the Pipe: Akrapovic. It has 2 mufflers so if one gets plugged by mud on accident you still run fine and sound stage is big
For the pipe run a Pro circuit works expansion chamber and a pc r304 silencer
If you can get your hands on a Scalvini pipe then definitely that. Otherwise HGS that makes very usable powerband.
Full bills pipe. Build is coming along dope 👌
What do you use in your parts washer?? I am about to buy the same one but I am not sure what to use.
Love watching your videos! You do a great job at cleaning all of your parts! You should go with a full bills pipe they look great and perform even better!
I would run a pro circuit works pipe with the shorty. That's what I run on my 02 cr250, good power and sounds great in the power band
Sick vids man loved this one especially. That mag cleaner really makes the difference.
though i do love FMF i think they only suit 4 strokes you should run a pro circuit platinum pipe with an R304 shorty.
I get those scotch brite pads in a about 6" x 8" pad. They are great
Frame is looking great! A hgs exhoust maybe? They're not that popular but really good quality.
Full bills pipe for the 250 I think it would look and sound great!!
I think a pro circuit works would sound amazing on the 250 I have the works set up on my yz105 puts a smile on my face every time I hear it.
So on the upper tubes of the frame about where the tank sits there are two grooves in it one on each side. Why? My 00 has this too and I can't find a reason why...
Thanks man
Hey Cameron niemela, did you buy the heated parts washer or make it yourself ? Thanks
I ended up building it myself.
How do you keep the Simple Green from reacting with the aluminum? It has turned grey on me when I have used it.
Full pro circuit exhaust system, keep up the good work!
Omfg man your videos are really a source of knowledge man I really like them i learn a lot from them too thank you man
Fmf gnarly pipe w/ a fmf silencer ..... great vid
you should pick up a pro circuit platinum pipe. I have one my self and it sounds amazing!!!
Legit looked your channel if there was a new vid, wasnt, went on another video and it suggested this :D
You should run an FMF gold series system that’s what I run on my 2004 CR 125 sounds great looks great and has lots of power
aluminun frames looks unbelievable after you clean them nice work
Hey Cameron if you have any broken parts and don't Wanna do a give away with them I'd be more than happy to take them off your hands. I'm a young mechanic too and your one of my biggest inspirations. You need to put a HGS exhaust on it is a dutch brand but AWESOME with the red endpipe en the stock hgs beginpipe believe me
HGS Pipe for the Win!!!💨💨💨
Scalvini... just for the looks!👌👌
FMF power core 2 with a front fmf gnarly pipe the sound
Of heaven 👍
I think a Pro circuit pipe and silencer would look and sound really good on the ole cr
Sorry to comment on an old post but my frame which is the same has kind of corrosion or embellishment at the head tube where the alloy is a little different.Could I polish it out, because some say no...thanks
Do a pro circuit works pipe with a ti-2 silencer, love the videos as well I always enjoy watching them!
i would say you should get a full bud racing exaust system, they are reliable, decent price, and they sound and look so good you would wish you found out about them earlier (unless you already know ;D)

Fmf factory fatty pipe with a fmf shorty.gottaLove the darker newer fmf over the chrome ones.
Pro Circut shorty and cone pro Circut. Bang for the buck and the loudest. Best $300 I spent on my pipe instead of my dumb works lever $156
CPI Custom Built Pipe. They are sweet!!!!!!!
WOW!! looks nice plus braving the elements. I would just go all factory and use the original pipe.A 250 makes plenty of power.
Send some of that snow to Colorado we need it!
Put a pro circuit on it. Looks and sounds great on my 05
Pro circuit ,enjoying the videos appropriate all the hard work
