China silk (?) perhaps for the interlining and silk charmeuse for the lining. It's for Vogue 1748. it'll be a knockoff of the Megan Markel recption gown by Stella McCartney. I'd considered a silk organza for the interlining, but it may be a bit too stiff.
that 2035 is adorable, Now I cannot stand jumpers but I can see how I can take this and split it up into a two piece in the same color fabric and add a white tailored shirt under the vest like crop top, set over the pants about high hip... that would be nice. thanks I just found your channel.
oh sorry but I think some of these patterns are great 👍🏻 & I love jumpsuit/rompers 😂 (it’s just a faf on when going to the loo 🚽 but I can put up with that for a great looking & fitting jumpsuit/romper 😁) thank u for showing us these patterns 👍🏻 love ya xxx
I think it was like 1-2 nothing moved me much in this collection. The whole summer drop was not impressive. More thoughts coming up on the New Look and the Butterick.
I am a 70's baby. Love seeing the vintage patterns. The jumpsuits are nostalgic but not practical for me. Not comfortable getting undressed, top to bottom down, to use public facilities. Knit fabrics, back then, trapped body heat
I like that jumpsuit but couldn't wear it to work without a denim jacket. How Florida weather is set up we are not about to do that in 90 degree weather

How to do up button backed tops or dresses: leave only the top one or two buttons undone to get into it, then do them up once you're in it.

My suggestion for lining would always be a crepe or charmeuse, casa lining.

Jumpsuits have logistics issues but, some are worth it😉. You get it!

I'm an 80s baby and I remember knit was the was to go, but now getting in and out of jumpsuits in public places is not the way I would go.
