hello writers! today i share my best 5 tips for pansters who want to write a book - in a way that requires NO PLOTTING OR PLANNING! i go through the process i went through to completely write my book panster style - without any plotting! i hope this advice helps you all struggling to plot! 📖

Ana, how are your videos always so soothing?! 😍 your voice is so calming.
I could never pantse my way through a book, I'm such a big plotter lol🙊 and yet, listening to your video I couldn't stop noticing how my writing process is similar to what you described? Before I jump into writing my stories, I write one or two sentence long descriptions of each chapter. That's how I plot my story! It's interesting knowing that while I consider that plotting, you think of it as pantsing.
Regardless of what we call it, what matters is that we're getting our story written 🥰 keep up the good work!
If you want to start a book, have a general idea. Also, think about the ending and what needs to be told through the story. Candyshop scenes help you work toward a point in your book and give structure. Also don't write your draft 0 (1) as an official draft, see it as a stakeholder document. Otherwise, it might take 4 years to write your book. ( speaking out of experience).

@@youssoufali3613 it's a document with the plot beats you know, the ideas, monologue/dialogue, and scenes you have for the story.

@@malakm8143 yes, but I always write the scenes in the order I want them to be. it's actually just everything you know about the story.

The problem: I only wrote scenes that randomly came into my mind (mostly cute interactions between my mcs💀) but most of the time I have no idea how to connect them and where to get with the plot :(

How should I handle chapter length? How short is a short chapter lol
How many words on average should my chapters be (and sidenote - how much should my chapters vary in length bc i always find myself writing the same length chapters)
Also how does that change if you're writing a shorter project like a 20-30K word novella rather than a full-length novel?

Just want to ask you a question, can I write my story with my phone? I want to use google doc, but I think it will be better to use a pc or a laptop that I currently don't have. I use google keep in maybe everything about story scenes, notes, ideas, informations, but I really love how you organize your doc but I am not sure if I should move to doc I , I'd love to know your opinion on what I said as writing using phone , Thanks for your video!! ♡

Plotting just never worked for me. I made a plot for three books but I wrote not one of them. It just ruins the vibe of writing for me. I love to discover how my book turns out without knowing what happens when I start to write.

it makes it so much fun to write a book without plotting! Its like im letting the characters take control of the story and they get to decide the plot not me! (even though im technically controlling them 😂 ).

Writing has never been my career goal, i want to do just for fun. However, now i can't enjoy the "fun" part anymore cause i get all wrapped up in plotting. I plot and never write and im sick of it. So screw the plot! Im a panster now :D

Honestly It’s crazy that when I’m walking home sometimes new ideas for stories just come to me, like I saw a bird, I decided to write a story called ‘Bluebird,’ which is following the life of a bird. I haven’t finished it yet. Anywho, sometimes stories come to me, sometimes they don’t. 😂🎉

1:54 Arial is the basic type of writing that i don't like. i like caveat better.
But plotting is important, isn't it?
haha yup. im just pretty bad at plotting and find it boring. this video is to write ur first draft. which is essentially ur 0 draft - a messy but fun way to ‘plot’ and tell urself the story!!🤍but if you can plot I def recommend it!!
