My dad bought two of them in 96. He gave me one to drive, (as a college student), and put the other one in storage. It had all the dealer prep on it and only had 9 miles. You might as well say that it was a new car with that little bit of mileage on it😉! My former friend had got the deal of a lifetime on a ridiculously immaculate early/mid 80's Cutlass years ago. It was owned by an elder that had it in storage with other vehicles of his. The elder man's son didn't want the car, so the guy I was friends with purchased it for dirt cheap. The car only had an issue with the material on the interior ceiling that had came loose around the edges by both doors, which was nothing to get upset about. That car was barely driven, coffee brown with cream accents, and ran like Usain Bolt.
Loved the video. I bought a new 1996 Impala SS in September of 1995. It is stock with only a few minor mods to the exhaust (H pipe and two-chamber Flowmasters). It now has 305,000 miles. The engine and rear end have been replaced. The transmission is original and has never been repaired. My Impala's commuting days are over because I run my own business from home now. It is now essentially a garage queen that we use to shuttle the grand-kids around.

Big ups to Killa Mike. Big ups to the show. Love it
Honestly its the attainable dream cars like this which make us all the happiest to own. You can drive them regularly, if they break there are parts available, and the attainability means you will find more people owning and enjoying them to build friendships with.
Wrong about the impala ss being used as taxis. The 91-96 Chevy caprices were used as taxis in those cities you named.
No shit dickfuck. Hes talking about the "platform" not the actual ss.
My dad had a 94 ss, one of the best cars to ever grow up with if you ask me. Always keept in great shape, never saw a lick of snow and got to take it to prom once back in 2011. Unfortunately he sold it for a mustang (never really got over him for that) but fortunately the car sold to a collector last time I checked. Hopefully one day I can purchase it back.
So classy Killa!
Thank you for the great video and review! Wanted a Bubble Impala since the the late 90s. I've owned a lot of cars new and old but my heart is still with the iconic 1990s cars....the ones I stayed up late night as a kid reading about in Car and Driver/Motor Trend mags.
I think its time to get this lazy boy couch with a LT1 V8 strapped to it and live out my childhood dreams.
Love the show I hope you find the Monte Carlo and the person who stole it gets stomped by a circus elephant that went rogue.
Eric Serrano im new to channel? Was it a 60-70s MC? Oh man was it SS?..
@@imrickjames7012 it was a 1970 and I believe it wasn't a SS it had a 350 in it though
Quite possibly my favorite episode yet. Thanks guys.

Im a certified SS addict..i have a 1987 Monte Carlo SS..a 2008 Trailblazer SS and my baby a maroon 1996 Impala SS..the first year that car came out i was a senior in high school it was around 30,000 at the time and i asked my mom to help me get it..she told me i wasn't getting a car that cost as much as hers..it took me 20 yrs to get one..i am the second owner and besides knick knack things the car has performed well
Love these cars I had 3 so far all black 94 2 maroon 95’s I wanted the 96 but here in Chicago we still have emission testing....& I love modding mines I put an 383 stroker & a lot more none emissions passing mods on mines lol but 1day I’m going to get that 96
I need to get the 96 and park it next to my Merc s550 and drive these cars forever.
I feel the same way about a G8 GXP 😍
I traded my g8 gt for a trailblazer ss recently. I'm just into unique cars. I cant drive what everyone drives. Impala ss is next on my list. I might sell my trans am ws6 to get one.
killer mike is one of my favorite rappers of all time... i listen to RTJ all day long
that's the last of the best impalas
The internet needs more Mike.
Damn I miss mine 😪
That brotha killer mike is a stand up,down to earth relatable dude.
Man what the he’ll happen to this channel .
I'm getting my new 1996 Chevrolet impala Monday morning as a classic auto loan I think God for my wonderful good credit 😉👍.
Mike has great taste. A lesser man would've gotten a Rolls Royce and slapped some 22 inch dubs on there.
Thomas Christopher White whaaaaat are 22 in dubs? Lmao
@@MrHiawatha08 Look em up and see the horror.
Ive had my 96 for 14 years now and don't plan to let it go...its for kids later on. Mine is just as clean with 88,000 miles, Jon Moss signature in it, and very subtle looking with the same mods in mind, however I kept my stock rims on. My daily is my FJ Cruiser, but I still get happy when I pull the Imp out of the garage from time to time in the summer months. I even passed up a trade for an early 70's vette at a gas station stop....just wasnt gonna happen...lol
Very good episode brutha. Beard is on point btw. #HeavyChevyKeepRollin
Thanks!
The 96 Impala SS has been my dream car since I was a kid in the mid 2000's
Love these cars!!! ❤️❤️❤️ only thing I hated was the Opti spark setup on those LT1 but still one of the baddest muscle cars ever!!!!

Mike is Awesome he seems like a super cool down-to-earth dude but hes also a very smart and knows his shit have you ever seen the video where he sat down with Bernie Sanders during the election yeah killer mike's that Dude
What a class act Mike is. Thanks for being you Mike. Goes a long way this day and age.
RTJ!! 👉🤛
It took me ten years to get one but it was worth the wait. One thing about the car it will make people look at it old young it dont matter everyone looks at it. Nothing like it I'm loving the one I got.👍

How would a regular guy or girl get their awesome ride on the House of Muscle?

Absolutely Stunning!! I have a 1996 Caprice Classic... Had it for close to 20 yrs... Giving it to my youngest when he gets his license....
That's why it called GROWN MAN TOY'S
The beard is a subconscious reminder that we show our age as time flies by, but the cars are a time capsule and always stay the same.
