I'm watching this because I just got a Samsung A71 5G (2 days old) and it is like I have to learn how to use a smartphone all over again! The features are crazy. This is real value. I'm happy I got this device.
Another way to take a screen shot is by extending your hand out using the bottom palm of the hand and swipe from left to right. I use this feature constantly. The A71 is also excellent for cropping images, you are not restricted like other phones. You can crop as close as possible to the edge, you have full control. Thanks for sharing especially with the pop-up/split screen, I love it.
I could not get my palm to work to screen shot. But if I swiped with my hand in karate chop wat from left to right edges It did take a snapshot. Maybe it is because I changed settings to not ACCIDENTAL TOUCHES, though
Bought Samsung A71 few days back, I waited for Samsung A52 and A72 for over 2 months. But I was a bit disappointed with those two phones because a 2+1 Sim configuration was a must for me and both were not 5G phones either. So I chose A71 which is around 10,000 Rupees (India) cheaper. With 4500 mAh battery 2+1 sim card configuration and with Snapdragon 730 processor with 8 GB RAM, I thought A71 was a food value for money phone. I'm using it for the past one week. I take three sessions of zoom class and watch lot of UA-cam content. Absolutely no complaints. If your budget is between 25 K and 30 K (INR) I would suggest you to consider this Phone.
Typing this comment from A71. Love it and like it all the way up. You just forgot cool feature "edge lighting". Whenever you got notification it shows cool colorful light in top of the screen (you can set it wherever u want too)

just got mind today. It was so easy to set up. Thank god for UA-cam... I had a Galaxy S7 for years it was really time for a change. All I had to do was share my old phone to this new one all my information just transfer over. So cool. Only my first-day let us see.

@@hassaanalam8135 Great I would say the only problem I have with the A71 is speaker kind of low. I think the price has dropped down to 350 so it's a steal get the 8 GB ram version if you can.
My go to phone in 2021 still. The battery life amazing! You can get Samsung themes too which further customizes the phone even more to your liking with live wallpapers pretty cool, yeah may eat some battery but still worth it. Thanks for the tips I learn some new things here, you are awesome.
@@midnytejay hey there I just saw your comment. If you still looking around. I'd say get the A72 since that has a even bigger battery and it's priced right. Though if you want the A71 in 2022 I'm still using it and it's running great. Same great battery and apps run smooth still plus we getting Samsung UI 4.0 this April so the A71 is still being supported. Of course if you have the little extra money get the A72 but your choice.
Great video, this phone (A71) is amazing! I was looking at the S20, but I went for this phone as it was allot cheaper by one fourth the price! The phone does everything I want and even more after watching this video, and I have a new wireless headphones and 6 months of Spotify for free!!! Awesome!
Thanks Kevin for this video. I almost have my phone set up the way I want it. I went from an Iphone to the Samsung A71 so the learning curve was tremendous. My first big lesson was how to answer the phone. Swiping was quite new to me. Ha Ha! You are easy to follow as you show us things and easy to understand so I really appreciate this. I have now watched this about 3 times so I think that I have gotten the drift of what I need for the moment.
@@suleidyreyes4123 my camera works great! On snapchat its a little wonky but the hardware camera is good. I think you should try and take it back and tell them your camera is having issues. Do you have warranty?
I love that edge panel feature. Took me a month to discover that lol. I put all my most used apps are there and it made it easy to access those. And the pop up view feature is really convinient too👍

This is one of the best phone product reviews "tricks and tips" I have encountered for any phone on UA-cam. You are very methodical, show the viewer exactly step by step how to modify or fix their phone features without rushing through or talking 20 words a second --- can't get more better or simpler than that. What many forget is that the viewer needs time to process what you are saying. Many go so fast the the viewer is still processing the previous trick while the reviewer is already finishing the next trick. Then the viewer has to stop the video and go back again and again. This video was extremely helpful and saved me a ton of time. Thank you.
People here needs to understand that is an entry level phone with nice, cool and just the necessary features, if you want and expect something else the $$$$pend some of it too.

After watching this I found another feature that allows you to take a screenshot by swiping your hand across the phone. Like your pushing a wall across the screen.

But, as someone who is COMPLETELY new to this type of phone, (I’m just now moving from a flip phone to a smart phone…plus I’m 73. Ha!) It's a shame they didn't give the a71 the full edge lighting like the flagship phones. Idk why they left it out but I hope they add it in an update.
