I asked a lineman once about service loops, and that was when i learned that those big transformers aren’t necessarily the entire transformer. It’s probably just one of the coils likely housed inside of that white cylinder, where the other coil could be some distance away down the line. That’s an interesting demonstration with the generator! I would’ve been concerned about being put to sleep by the carbon monoxide exhaust choking out my clean air flow.
