Potential lore change : instead of saying his power corrupted the king say something mysterious currupted him and u can add lore rooms etc to find what eventually corrupted him and u can destroy it (and keep the king alive ) or claim it for urself for power (and kill the king )but u get corrupted urself and that can build for dlcs
Great video. I love the guns, especially Jerry. One thing I'm concerned with is the Slimes blending in with the ground, maybe there should be an option for white outlines around the enemies? I had a bit of a hard time seeing them during the video. Also an idea for a gun: One that shoots notes. Maybe the notes could be in a specific order to make a song? They would probably move slower than average, and they would bob up and down in the air while they move.

This is the second time one of your videos has been recommended to me. It's looking pretty good, and I like that art which is somewhat reminiscent of the Game Boy in color in dimensionality. I'm approaching 500 subs now because I keep finding channels like yours. Oh well, I don't suppose UA-cam limits that, so hopefully it'll be fine.
I'm the kind of person who beleives that music/sfx doesn't really matter in a video game. Boy this video prove me wrong, hats off to you and the composers! New guns are great :D One suggestion I have is to give a pickup animation or a particle effect when you collect the money, because right they just despawn.

What do you think about the idea of rare Minibosses spawning in enemy rooms? I think it could provide an interesting shake up to the usual game loop. Just ideas of course. Love how the game's turning out.
I kinda prefer stage hazards spawning every boss level that vary depending on what the boss is, like speakers shooting a projectile sound wave every few seconds when the boss is the DJ. Stuff like that would be neat.
As someone getting into game dev, I appreciate your devlogs. Question: how are you differentiating this from gungeon? I ask because when I get game ideas, they just deem like ideas of other games lol

While the game does share many similarities, some of the differences can be seen in the capturing system (having the option to capture slimes and upgrade your pet), the ability to fight the final boss whenever you'd like (it's up to you how long you want to sleep through days in the game before you feel ready), and of course the green color palette.
a throwing dagger or something could be really cool, having both close range and far range attacks (idk if this would fit in, but could give a cool unique playstyle) maybe a slime lasso also would be cool, locking enemies in place and then pulling them towards you, dealing damage. when it's coming back towards you (the lasso), it can pick up multiple enemie
I think a great addition to the big boy would be to make it when you reload it only loads one round at a time so you have two options you can choose to constantly be reloading 1 round at a time for the larger damage bonuses or you can reload the full 3 rounds but you loose out on the potential damage bonuses
Not sure if you will add melee weapons, but a whip would a fun idea for a melee weapon. You can click to attack, and if you hold click, you can swing it around to deflect small projectiles and do a tiny bit of damage too.
2:40 i'm gonna be honest the music doesn't the intenser scenes of the intro (when the Slime King is shown to be corrupted and the one where they fighting)
Idea a music player: it lets you listen to every song in the game and after you have completed the game you will get the ability to listen to an uncorrupted version of the corrupted songs and there could be 3 slimes that react to each song differently depending on the type of song, such as boss music making them nerves or music for inside buildings making them relaxed etc

Might require a bit of balancing, but having the snowball launcher's projectiles gain mass as they "roll" across the ground would be a super neat touch. This could do extra damage, deal more and more knockback, etc,.. I have been following the devlog since day one and am really looking forward to seeing how the game evolves further :D
I don't remember if you added this, but I'd like to see a weapon unlock system that goes from order least damage to most damage in certain categories like pistols light damage to heavy damage basically whatever is an advantage
I had an idea where in order to make to slipp 22 a bit more fun/balanced you could make it deal more damage based on how many shots you failled before. I just thought it would be really cool to go on a super dry streak and then send out like a 10 damage projectile. i dont know what would be a balanced amount of damage per missfire but i think you can gat the idea.

Yeah I wanted to do that, but with how I set up the magazine UI, it’s just not possible to have different sprites. So it probably won’t happen unfortunately
Maybe for the popcorn gun, you could have the projectiles do a little bounce when they pop? I feel it would make it seem more like popcorn, rather than just some expanding projectile.
Great Devlog and a very fluid gameplay. I just found this channel. I have a suggestion, Can you make the main player in some different color? My reason is it differs the player from those slime and also implies he is not part of those slime army/creatures. Plus it will create a contrast for users to focus. My personal preference on the fully green gameScene would be peach/pink color.
it’s weird because when I was thinking of what weapons he might add, I was thinking of like a donut-related thing and some weapon that uses slimeballs. Then there’s the bagel launcher thing (not a donut I know, but close) and Jerry (who doesn’t use your slimeballs I don’t think but shoots them still so).

I think it would be a good idea to change the damage from 1 to 30. And continue in increments of 30. 1 = 30 2 = 60 3 = 90...etc Just 1 damage feels like very little, 30 feels like your doing something

The white outline is reserved for the pet and player to signal that the pet is friendly.

Gun idea, The life-sniper It dose 0.5 damage BUT it has lifesteal every hit heals 0.1% of your max hp.

You get the slime ball coins for killing slimes, so Jerry should use that currency to shoot instead of the standard ammo
Please make the slimeball coins speed up over time… it looks very weird that the player can outrun them
