Die Geschichte des Will & Grace-Revivals fungiert als Sequel zur ursprünglichen Serie Will & Grace. Hauptfiguren sind wie damals die vier Freunde Will Truman (Eric McCormack), Grace Adler (Debra Messing), Jack McFarland (Sean Hayes) und Karen Walker (Megan Mullally).
Ausgangspunkt von der ursprünglichen Serie Will & Grace war die anstehende Hochzeit von Grace, die nach den Bedenken ihres homosexuellen besten Freundes Will, die Hochzeit abbläst und ihren Verlobten verlässt. In Folge ihrer Trennung zieht sie deshalb bei Will ein. Die beiden Freunden sich mit Karen, der Assistentin von Grace, und dem arbeitslosen Schauspieler Jack an.

debra would do a pretty good job as mamma in chicago, based off her vocals in this and in the theme song w lyrics on jimmy fallon. i feel like if she got the proper voice training she could do it.

It’s sad this was the best bit of the reboot . The show was a mess they recycled old plot points because it felt like they had so little to say and then it ended with Debra and Megan having some problem behind scenes
