Ikea Rast Assembly (Chest of Drawers)

- Another trip to Ikea and I bought home two chests of drawers from their Rast range. Made from solid pine (with MDF panels). I had it in mind that I could fit these underneath my modified Ikea Neiden bed frame (see other video) and maximise the minimal floor space within my bedroom.
Overall, I've been very satisfied with these units for their price and I don't see that changing.

Thank you for such a timely video. I just purchased the Rast and was stressed out because
with IKEA products when assembled they don't always resemble the store display. I agree with another commentator you did an excellent job with the sync of your voiceover with every selected scene. The fact that I was able to assembly my Rast lets me know that your camera angles provided me with enough information to fill in any gaps in the instructions.

I rarely build things so I was struggling here (especially due to the lack of a manual), however I want to thank you for such a well paced, informative video with a nice well explained narrative. No distracting music, no beating around the bush; You just got straight to it and the camera angles were so helpful that I was quick enough to catch a step I had missed if that was the case.

Nice video Thanks!! - What helped me : 1) Needed to drill holes in knobs less than width of screws 2) Added Vaseline to screws to go easily into the wood 3) Needed to tap in plastic screws snug to allow drawers for slide freely

In 1:57 I notice it is the smaller wood that your placing, I have tried to place it but it will not go in for some reason. That’s where I am actually currently stuck right now. I don’t know what to do.

Olly Parry-Jones unfortunately no, I’m all thumbs when it comes to these things, but no worries I have someone who specializes in assembling these things come by tomorrow I also have a bookshelf from ikea to put together. 🌟
What are the measurements included drawers?
Hello, sorry for the delay in replying.
Overall, one unit is 700mm high x 620mm wide x 302mm deep.
Internally, each drawers measures 552mm W x 118mm H x 256mm D.

I made even harder. U could have shown us items and steps more throughly than vaguely going over one steps to other.
I wanted to keep this video brief so that people might watch it. I find Ikea's instructions are quite good. Some also like to have a brief visual demonstration.
