Caitlin Clark is ahead of Taurasi in every stat except 3pt% and turnovers. She's hit more 3pt shots than Taurasi and most of her turnovers are because her teammates drop the passes. She belongs on the team ahead of Taurasi.
I watched every game very few are because her teamates drop her passes most she gets the ball stolen from her a lot and she make passes like she was at Iowa
Most of what you said was true . 80% of turnovers are CC's fault.. but it's because she's being triple covered ,double stacked and pressed from half court. And doubled off the screens 100% of the time
The turnover thing is overblown. She has the ball more and she’s merely replaced the turnovers that the rest of the players had been making. The top scorers alway have a lot of turnovers. Like LeBron, and Steph.
Last night was horrible! Dribbled it away twice. And the rest of the team didn’t showup for any support! Mitchell was not even Tasmanian Devil showing up! AND??? The lack of in depth defense was painfully evident as Dallas kept hitting the shots!

If Clark is selected for the Olympic Team, she needs to say no thanks because the Olympic coach will not play her, and the viewership ratings will be way up because people will tune in to watch Caitlin play. Afterwards, the WNBA will point out high the ratings were without Clark even playing!

And ten years from now, the legends of how CC, the GOAT, was treated by WNBA and aligned media, will still be regularly retold in all kinds of contexts. Until stumbling over a news item, I had less than no interest in women's basketball, at any level.

One Second of seeing CC-22 impersonating Stephen Curry hooked me! The second second and I realized Caitlin Clark wasn't copying anybody!

Because what I know is based on clips showing her shooting half-court 3-pointers and making magical passes, reminiscent of Magic Johnson to Kareem when everyone in the stadium and home in front of their television KNEW the Sky-Hook was coming and nobody could stop it, I see patterns where the playing style of CC-22 is changing the team. Boston figured out that all she has to do is get below the basket, stick out a mitt and the basketball would appear in it.

Anyway, I think she is playing perfectly, playing her game and letting the team adjust to things like having a pass actually come to them, and supporting each others play. I think I see a team in name becoming a team in practice.
It is amazing the difference in how Caitlin has been treated as a top rookie and how Paul Skenes has been treated as a top rookie.

The WNBA is clearly showing why it is a struggling organization. Roller Derby vibes! Every once in a while you can see the TALENT of any of these teams shining through!!! And then they start up again with the field goal layups,,etc. Smith dribbled herself out of bounds early on and she had a clear field in front of her. The game last night was PAINFUL TO WATCH!!! That long pass to the point made BUT a timeout was called for off the bench by sides just about made me faint?

Clark attended Team USA Olympic Camp while she was in Iowa. She couldn’t make the last few team sessions because of the NCAA tournament. She was listed as an alternate for the team.

22CC is a great player and certainly a future standout. However, despite all the accolades and her current popularity among a majority of Americans, she currently leads the WNBA in turnovers per game. She's at 5.6 tov/game while the next player on the list is at 3.6. In Fever's last game, she had 6 of the 17 tov, including the one the had the game slipping away in the final moments. So, you cannot have a player, however talented to represent the US at such a major event as the Olympics with such a high level of turnovers. It definitely would make a powerful statement for both women's basketball as well as the US if she would be part of the team, but at the moment it's too risky if the objective is to win gold.
