They do it so they can get the shot in the right spot which I don’t think there is any and to not make it so fast or they might mess up.
Fun fact: the least you move the less it hurts. It happens cuz when you don’t move ur veins show up more making it easier for the doctors to get ur blood and test it
My extreme fear of needles is the one thing keeping me from doing my yearly flu vaccination, and I doubt it’s a fear I’d get over anytime soon
After getting the covid vaccine, I was more annoyed by the side effect than the actual shot, which felt like a little pinch but it was immediately over and no after pain from what I recall! Idk about flu shots though, i’ve been lucky/unlucky enough not to have one yet even though i’ve nearly graduated, sorry for my life story LMAO

I got the flu shot and got a relergic reaction when I was like 5 or something and my arm was super sore and swollen, also after I got out of the hospital a while ago I had to get it, my arm was only a little swollen but still super sore.

when i was seven i actually kicked away the doctor and ran out and hid somewhere in the hospital, it took them like 10 mins to find me and then my father had to hold me down on the chair while i got the shot
