- What’s up Pigeon World! I’m off today from work so I decided to get up early and get some kinda training for my young birds. One of the old timers suggested that I should go to LA Zoo, because it’s a good landmark for the birds. Thank you for watching!

I took my birds (41) 15 miles Saturday for the 1st time and it took them 2 hours to come home. They were exhausted. I will go back to the same place next week. If they don’t beat me home, I will go back to 10 miles so they can regain their confidence back. I’m getting to know my birds every day. I have no set program in place when it comes to training . I have a goal and I adjust with my birds to reach that goal. Observation is the key.

They made it home brother that’s what matters. They are looking really good. Nobody was panting hard or had their beak open. They got home and went straight in. Looks like a win to me! Thanks for sharing and god bless

Yes I agree! I just enjoy the birds and the experience of it. I have no expectations because I know I don’t have a lot of time to actually train the birds unlike some of the members here. I pretty much just try to keep everything as simple as possible that way I can have birds to race come racing season 😊 how about you man? How’s training going for you?
It never hurts to repeat a distance. I never get worked up about the birds taking their time on training tosses
But… but… where’s the fun on that? 😊 also, gas price gettin too expensive 😩

I'd stick to 15 for a few tosses till ther beating you home ther just finding ther way and if the first race isn't till October absolutely no rush bro you don't want to burn them out loads of time to train if no races till sep/Oct unless I e got that wrong let them range bit more aswell get them out as early as yu was few vids back all about learning the area good luck mate 👍👍
I know man.. I know around august and September I’m gonna be busy with work so I’m trying to do some kinda training now because later on I’m not gonna have a lot of free time and all. With my work busy schedule, I’ll be really surprise if I burn them out bro 😬

Hey GPS loft how’s it going?
Quick question can you re-home pigeons that are under 1 year that have never been flown to your loft? If so how do you do it? I’m asking because I just got some gifted to me and they are under 1 year old never flown before.
That is great question. I did do video on how to do it. You can look up Burak loft or how to re-home pigeons. But if you don’t want lose them. I would never let them out

@@gpsloft5868 I know only going 5 miles. up to you. But I lost 22 birds going from 5 to 10 miles by jumping to soon. They should bet you home.

Nice cheap toss lol ..I have a us Air Force base here about eight miles away it takes the birds one hour to get home from that spot every time all the radars messes them up I call that a cheap toss .

is Air Force base close by I take the birds there after they are completely trained if not they get lost all the microwaves in the air not a good thing for them .
@@StratosLoft I grew up down the street from a military base near Griffith Park in Atwater Village. Maybe that’s the one you’re referring to. 😊

You can watch my videos for the last two years man. I pretty much showed everything (results, the actual arrival of the birds from a hard race, and etc..) Good or bad I show it. 😊
