Loved the Japanese market tour. After that, I subscribed. You two are such great tour guides. Thank you.
Awesome! Thank you!
Another entertaining vlog.. That strawberry cheesecake danish behind that glass case... OMG... I cant believe you guys didn't destroy one!
Next time!
Lisa please never stop saying hello the way you do. I love it 😊
Yes hubby always tried to say hello like you do when we’re watching your videos. Ha ha. 😂❤
Lisa’s “Hello” should be patented.😂

Thank you, Laura!
My favourite foodie couple by far ❤️
Interesting. There is a Mitsuwa Marketplace in Suburb of Chicago called Schaumburg somewhat close to Woodfield Mall. Its been there for over 20 years way before Asian Grocery Chains like HMart became popular.
Great video...I'm craving Ramen now!!
We've just rebooked our Canada and Alaskan tours from Australia that was cancelled back in 2020 today ! WE are on our WAY!! costing a lot more but will all be good.
That's great news, Ben! Have an amazing time!
wow great idea to mix curry box...thanks for the tip
Most welcome 😊
The Mochi sounds yummy!
We really need a Mitsuwa in Las Vegas
Oden!!! 😋😋 Ohhhh..could be another sushi togo shootout.😉
Oden is some good stuff!
you folks make me Smile, thanks for sharing
✌hello Lisa & Bill, thanks for the fun video! Now I really NEED some mochi ice cream, lol
Hi Susie! It's so good!
-Love the new logo
-would love to see some cooking videos
-can u guys film Shrimp Lover at Redondo Pier
-you should try the local Taco Loco, they have the best guisados
❤❤❤ big fan thank you for showing us all the cool spots
Shrimp Lovers is great! Been there many times. We do have one video from there from a few years back, might have to do an update.
Santoku Ramen at Mitsuwa is soooooo good
you can also request salt level at that ramen shop.... I often order my ramen with low sodium
Yaaaayyyyy❤!,,,
Have to look it up now that I know there is 1 in Plano (pronounced Plain-O), TX. Might be an hour away but maybe worth it. Love ya'll.
Hoping one day we’ll get to Southern California to go to that market! Long drive for us
Maybe on your next trip to LA, so many good eats here.
Cool, we will have to stop by there the next time we are in CA.
Bill's intro jokes are getting more "interesting" with each episode 😂😂😂. Loved the way Lisa tried not to laugh.
Get food video.
Yes 😂
That’s a nice mitsuwa! The one in NJ is small
new subscriber love this vid, thank you for making it. Ill have to go by here
Welcome to our channel, HappyC!
I too like the golden curry
Good price for the mochi ice cream, based on the size!
Oh my stars, Bill getting frisky with Lisa!😂
I love that market. It's one of the things i miss most about the South Bay.
I always have great food every time I visit Mitsuwa. I didn’t see Baumkuchen cake/bread.
Is that cake/bread in the bakery section?
Another great foodie vlog guys. It’s expensive there but I think I’ll go by there this Saturday for lunch. Thanks for sharing your adventures in great food 👍👍👍
Aloha bradda and me sista! Thanks for this video. Just went there today 4/5. I wanted to chk out the bookstore get some lil things for my glamBeBes Easter 🐣 baskets.
😮😮😮 that place is 'ssspensive!! I have 5 baskets to fill hahahahaha. I did walk away with a couple of Kauai Kookies annnddd a tin of my fave not so cheap cookies Yoku Moku. So happy they have them cuz for the longest, you can only order on-line from Neiman or Saks 5th... yup, not cheap, but yummm.
ps.. guess what's for dinner Lisa?? Oxtail soup from Kings!! Just down da st. 😋
Aloha IslandGirl! Love that Oxtail from Kings!! Yes, expensive stuff there, especially the items from Japan.
There's also a Mitsuwa in Costa Mesa down the street from South Coast Plaza and a teeny tiny location in Irvine - I'm surprised the app didn't list it 🤷🏻♀️
Not sure why either, maybe all under 'SoCal'. lol
Great tour of the Japanese Market. Love all variety of you showcased and restaurant. Thank you !! 🤗🤗
Glad you enjoyed, Mario!
My husband and I love the Mitsuwa Marketplace outside of Chicago!
There's a Matsuwa in San Diego
Thank you for showing this place. I’ve been in Cali for countless amounts of time but never know this market exists. And I love japan
You are so welcome! It's connected to the Del Ama Fashion mall, so you can literally spend the whole day in this area.
Living your best life; love it.
Another great video!! ❤ I remember the mitsuwa on western and Carson Street when I worked at sundrider next door and we would stop in there at lunch time. I've been to the new location at dwl amo mall once when it first opened but after seeing your video, I didn't know there was a bakery to buy croissants and sweets so I will go back and check it out. The gift shop looked fun to spend hours in but I could spend hours at the abc store too!! 😂😂😂 thanks for showing some of the grocery items and your ramen 😊😊😊😊😊 keep having fun ❤❤❤ out there !!!!!
Thanks Beverly! The old Mitsuwa location you went to was great. A lot bigger food court too.
Love your videos so much! You guys are fun to watch!
That Binggrea Samanco green tea red bean gold fishshape ice cream is actually a korean brand that is distributed to Japanese market. Those r very addicting beware..lol
We'll have to give it a try!
Thank you for this great video! I was born in Japan, but haven’t been back in decades. I wish this market was closer to me, I’d go more often. I love spending time browsing at all the goodies and I end up buying way too many sweets. Lol! You make the curry the same way I do, half mild and half medium hot. Just the right amount of heat. Watching you two eat the yummy food has made me hungry. 😊
You're welcome, Deanna! You'd love this market.
Love watching all of your food and world travels. I'm very jealous! Lol😅
This location is awesome. There's a Mitsuwa in Northridge but they don't have a food court. Great coverage, as usual.
I was wondering what was in the Northridge one!
I love this vlog, it goes over and beyond what is expected. Please feature eating places/markets and restaurants in America. I know there are a ton of interesting places.
The food looks so good. I want to go out to eat with you guys, so you can explain what everything is. Enjoy. Thanx for sharing.
Our pleasure!
Thanks so much. Take care.🙏🏽❤️👼🏾✨🌟
Anytime Devon!
I really enjoy going to different supermarkets! I wish we had one in our small town 😪!
Nijiya has good food too but no food court I think. Super H mart has good food albeit not much to choose from
I grew up on Golden Curry and it's my favorite. The Vermont stuff is way too sweet.
I go to Mitsuwa in NJ, love it! Haven't been in awhile though. Definitely time for a visit, tfs!
THANKS BILL AND LISA FOR SHARING ANOTHER WONDERFUL VIDEO. THE FOOD LOOKS REALLY GOOD. KEEP UP THE AMAZING JOB. HAVE A SPECTACULAR WEEKEND AND EASTER HOLIDAY 👏🏽😁👍🏼
Thank you! You too, Tracey! Happy Easter!
❤❤
K from UK 🇬🇧
Saw you on spotlighted on local TV recently. Vegas themed "Ninth Island Connection" was the show.
Photo from the episode was from Oscars'. So many times I passed that restaurant to get to Karens Jerky shop.
We're friends with Ninth Island Connection! Good people and great show!
Hello guys. That asian food looks so good. Always enjoy watching your videos. You guys take care.
Good Morning Bill & Lisa Happy Thursday 😊
Good morning! Happy Thursday, Christine!
Opening portion of video - 😲😂
Wow, it all looks so good. Why did I watch this when hungry. Never learn. 🤦♀️
Great review.
Thanks Yvonne! That's the best time to watch our vids! lol
Lovely vlog I miss watching you guys got back my internet today so am happy
Hi guys 👋🏻… I am so glad you guys are explaining the products at Mitsawa, because when I go there I feel completely lost!…Thank you guys!🙏
Our pleasure!
😂😂. Once again, great 6 second opening. 😂😂. Bill, your hysterical!! Still watching and love it thus far. Slainte
Thanks Wil!
What a great couple U guys are. I love following you around. See ya next time!👍
Thanks so much! 😊
I love Mitsuwa! Been to the one in san diego
Hallooo Lisa and Bill. I tried the mochi donuts and the udon soup when I was there in January. Really liked the market
Great video...all the food looked fabulous...would of never left the market part of the store 😂...safe travels and God Bless 😘🤗🌹💘
Thank you, Jade!
I don't get it. Can you explain the intro joke in full detail please? Is that like when you drop the bar of soap in jail?
We have a Mitsuwa a short ride NW from Chicago. 90% of the time I get the Santoku Ramen (menu item #3) and the premade sushi. The other 10% Chicken Katsu. Really hard to get a food court table during weekends. Mitsuwa is so clean, aesthetic, and attention to detail. Even the way they slice the fish and meat is beautiful. Quality>quantity. Samanco is my fave! I have that Katsu sauce in my fridge!
There was a joke?? LOL! We love Mitsuwa too! Tokyo Central work checking our too.
Hi Bill and Lisa, videos are always great. I would like to know if you both tried Ethiopian and Indian cuisines?
Yes on Indian, no on Ethiopian. Thanks for watching!
Your Mitsuwa looks a lot larger than ours in Hawaii. Yummy looking treats. Plus, I only go when I'm in Waikiki. Wish we had one outside of Waikiki.
Outside would be nice, easier for parking we imagine.
Great place! The cheese, potato, ketchup log (forgot the name) looked so good! All that cheesy goodness❤
One of our fav Korean corndogs.
My daughter watched with me and we are going to go shopping/eating there soon.
Nice! Enjoy!!
We too like hot sake. Had a very expensive carafe of cold sake at Morimoto's in Maui and it was just ok.
The golden curry yeah! That is the favorite of my wife and I. We mix the two as well. Keep up the great videos. We live in Washington State. Have all of these foods here as well.
Thank you! Will do!
Never had a Korean corn dog. Thanks Bill for saying there is no “dog” inside because I was wondering!
What a great assortment of foods on these Vlog!
I love Udon. Thank you Bill and Lisa !
Our pleasure!
Vermont Curry and Bull-Dog katsu sauce for us.
Had both, they're good too. =)
Happy Wednesday. Thanks for this vlog.
Happy Wednesday, Lawrence!
@@billandlisa 👍🏼
Hey Lisa!!!!! Hey Bill !!!!! ❤ 😊
Hey Daniel!!
Loved this market tour. Maybe you could do a Seafood City, Don Quixote or 7-11 take out foods next time you are on Oahu.
very nice adventure. lots of opportunities to try new foods. i was taken back, though, by the prices. can be an expensive adventure since so many offerings were inviting.
Yes, can get expensive there, especially the items from Japan.
Thanks for going to Mitsuwa. It's closeby at Del Amo Mall. I usually shop at Tokyo Central, but I'll grab some lunch at Mitsuwa next time. Hope I bump into you two around town. Happy Easter to you and your family.
You're welcome, Alus. Please say Hi if you see us around!
Bill, you da’ noodle king! 🍜❤ This place is AMAZING! Thanks for doing a more detailed video of their offerings. I checked them out online and they have a Mitsuwa marketplace up here in NorCal in San Jose, yay!! Will definitely be checking it out! LOVED the cheese-pull pic! LOL! Thanks for another great one guys! ❤, Arlene
Glad you enjoyed it, Arlene! You'll love Mistuwa if you get the chance to visit.
Yummy 🍱🥹🍣🥰🌶️🤤🍜😍🍄🟫🥢🍚!
Fun fact: Calpico is named Calpis in Japan
Bill with the jokes 😂
you guys need to go to a tokyo central
We do a lot of shopping there, great store.
The “American size” drinks are actually available in Japan. They’re more like “family size” which you would buy and take it home to share (sort of like buying a 2 liter of soda) and drink out of a cup vs straight out of the bottle.
Also appreciate that Bill pronounced “udon” correctly (oooh-dou-n, not you-don 😅)
Hi, I love it, would've got spicy miso lol🤷, the udon noodles looked better than were I guess, hard to find good noodles, love how you try so many things, you should have your favorite burger with Alex from every burger in Vegas, he will pay lol, pick your favorite, be nice to see a collaboration, tyvm tc
Thanks for my birthday wishes 🥰
You’re welcome 😊
The picture cracked me up. Thank you.
6” of pulsating goodness? 😅😅😅
Love this video. It would be great if you guys would do a couple of cooking videos showcasing Japanese cuisine. It would be great. I don’t know anything about cooking Japanese dishes.
Thanks, but probably no cooking vids. But, we do have some homemade cocktail recipes we posted during the pandemic shutdown.
Great video and great place, been there several times, it's located at the Del Amo Mall, brings Japan to Southern California. And Bill, I don't think you can combine udon and ramen, they each have their unique textures and flavors, in my opinion.
Thanks Alan! =)
I love that sukyaki sauce. I buy it from Amazon to make rice like they make at Gyukaku. So expensive.
Hard to find in other Japanese markets, tastes so good!
The ramen and Asian hot dog look good. There’s a place in chino hills that has it.
Hi guys that Japanese supermarket is wonderful, they have do much variety and stock. I’d hate to do stocktake or checking dates on all their products lol. The good you guys ate looks d as maxing 🥰, that cheese pill was everything on the Korean corn dog. Never tried them before
Hi Angie! This market is fun to walk through, lots to look at (and buy lol!).
Japanese food, esp sushi is the best food on earth! Korean hotdogs are tasty! There’s a mitsuwa in the Bay Area! I also love Japanese and Korean beauty products!
Agreed! Love their lunch bentos too!
Nice new building. The one in Irvine is old and tired.
Oh no! I was about to check that one out today since I’ll be in Irvine! Still going though.😅
Do they have a Miyabi-Tei like in Costa Mesa? Lunch with entree, miso soup, cabbage salad, rice tsukemono & potato salad for less than a meal at McD's!
Miyabi-Tei was in the old location, we miss that place! Great deal on the Katsu curry!
I love that newer Mitsuwa location! The tokotsu udon looked delicious. Was the chashu tender? I usually get the curry katsu udon but my shirt always gets dirty from the curry lol. Great video!
Yes, tender and flavorful. I'll give the beef curry udon a try next time.
First once again!!
❤
