  • Flexibility has become more much of an important theme within VET in recent years as there has been a shift to make VET more personalised, learner centred and at the same time more in line with the needs of the labour market. The VET Recommendation of 2020 stresses that flexibility is at the core of vocational training and with it, reinforces the importance of flexible learning pathways. More widely, other on-going policy discussions around personalised journeys, such as micro-credentials, the Pact for Skills and Individual Learning Accounts, suggest that enhanced flexibility should be at the heart of future policy approaches to VET across Europe. With regards to EQAVET, the VET Recommendation also includes an update to the EQAVET Recommendation as it includes an additional indicative descriptor on flexibility of VET learning pathways. However, flexibility is a topic that has not been explored specifically by the EQAVET Network yet.
This ninety-minute webinar explores the challenges and solutions for quality assurance in VET within the context of flexible learning pathways. The webinar presents different practices in Europe.
