You all are not alone in the early-to-bed club on New Year’s Eve! Most years lately I’ve been asleep by 11 thinking I could hang until mid nite but fall asleep trying. But this year I got to give a New Years kiss to my favorite guy even though he passed out by 9 CST and that would be my 5 year old grandson! I watched him and his 7 month old sister while mom and dad went to celebrate at a house party and that was truly my favorite way to celebrate bringing in 2021 -- with my two sweet little grandkids!
The happiest new year to you, Britt & Jared, Nate and Michelle, and extended family and friends. Thank you for being so positive of our new year and helping me to keep my spirit up and to carry through the new year. Thank you so much.

You folks had the perfect spot to see all the fireworks! I liked when the yachts started blowing their horns at midnight, so cool! Honolulu was like a "war zone." It's part of our culture to really go all out when it comes to fireworks. Even though the Hawaii legislature banned all aerial fireworks in 2010, there's a overwhelming lack of compliance to the law. Every new years eve, a news crew goes up to the roof of their building, and films Kalihi Valley, which is a pretty big community in Honolulu. For the entire area of homes and other buildings, there were massive displays of huge aerial fireworks!!! Its so mindblowing how much fireworks are being set off. It seemed like especially this year, people were like saying, "Heckin 2020, get outta hea!!!!" Well, sorry I wrote so much, I just get so amazed at the amount of fireworks my beautiful city blows up!! Love you guys!! Hope you all have a great new year!!!! "Bye Finny!!" (Sorry guys, he's my favorite, lol.

I m 32 and my sister in law is 29 and we were texting each other all night complaining that we cannot keep ours eyes open. We did stay up, however as it turned 2021 we text everyone Happy New Year and Good Night at the same moment. Happy New Year guys have a lot of fun in Florida and have fun for me also!

Once I eat and sit in my lazy chair after work I'm out like a light lol. U guys should try getting fresh pineapple while ur living in florida because the tast e is so much better. Plus it's fresher because you're cutting straight from my you know the actual pineapple versus in a can or waiting for it to be delivered. At least that's what Mom at always said.

Blue Bell ice cream is the only ice cream you will eat after having it. Fireworks were going off as soon as the sun went down here in Switzerland. There was an echo throughout the whole valley.

The Blue Bell mint chocolate chip is very good. Also if you live near a Publix they have the best bakery...try their cheesecake cones, key lime pie, heath bar cake. They have a great buffalo chicken dip in the deli

I admit it. My guess was absolutely, 100% WRONG. And I realized that yesterday when I saw Daniel & Michelle put up a picture of one the passports of theirs whilst they were at the airport in Salt Lake on IG.
But, that doesn't mean that I'm not happy to see Nate & Michelle!!! (WOOT, WOOT) Michelle is looking mighty fine in her motherly mode. (thumbs up) Have they told you if they've been thinking of names for their little girl yet?
BIG thanks for sharing the fireworks with me. In my city, they didn't do any fireworks because of the high cases of Covid that's happening right now. So it's been a year since any have happened. We didn't even get any on Canada's birthday - July 1st. (sniffle, sniffle)
And just know that I didn't make it to see the calendar change over Britt. I was snug as a bug in my bed by 10:30 last night. (wink, wink)
Here's to hoping that 2021 works out to be a much better year, overall, than 2020 was.
