In men, hair often begins to recede from the forehead.
Male-pattern baldness
Women tend to lose hair along the part.
Female-pattern baldness
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata) is sometimes preceded by itchy or painful scalp.
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata)
Repeated stress on the hair can cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia.
Traction alopecia
t's becoming increasingly common for menopausal women to experience frontal fibrosing alopecia, in which the hairline moves back.
Frontal fibrosing alopecia
Hair loss can appear in many different ways, depending on what's causing it. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect just your scalp or your whole body.
Signs and symptoms of hair loss may include:
Gradual thinning on top of head. This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting people as they age. In men, hair often begins to recede at the hairline on the forehead. Women typically have a broadening of the part in their hair. An increasingly common hair loss pattern in older women is a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia).
Circular or patchy bald spots. Some people lose hair in circular or patchy bald spots on the scalp, beard or eyebrows. Your skin may become itchy or painful before the hair falls out.
Sudden loosening of hair. A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen. Handfuls of hair may come out when combing or washing your hair or even after gentle tugging. This type of hair loss usually causes overall hair thinning but is temporary.
Full-body hair loss. Some conditions and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer, can result in the loss of hair all over your body. The hair usually grows back.
Patches of scaling that spread over the scalp. This is a sign of ringworm. It may be accompanied by broken hair, redness, swelling and, at times, oozing.
When to see a doctor
See your doctor if you are distressed by persistent hair loss in you or your child and want to pursue treatment. For women who are experiencing a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia), talk with your doctor about early treatment to avoid significant permanent baldness.
Also talk to your doctor if you notice sudden or patchy hair loss or more than usual hair loss when combing or washing your or your child's hair. Sudden hair loss can signal an underlying medical condition that requires treatment.
People typically lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually isn't noticeable because new hair is growing in at the same time. Hair loss occurs when new hair doesn't replace the hair that has fallen out. - Навчання та стиль
It’s definitely worth noting that the 80s wigs were part of his stage costumes. The big hair was imitating Tina Turner. The other is Mozart. He only starting wearing wigs as real hair in 92. Everything before that was hats and costumes.
I saw Elton in concert wearing the Mozart wig & outfit & absolutely loved it. :-))
Jake, definitely monetize. You are a brand, and the perfect person to remove the “toupee” stigma. Btw, I remember when you had 100 subs. Holy moly - over 2,000 now! Keep it up bro!
I appreciate that! its been a journey brother. but its only just beginning.
9:45 “what I would describe a bad haircut” yet literally has the same style lol
Monetize it!
Awesome content Jake.
Been following for about week.
Make all the profit that you are able from your channel. You take the time to plan & film informative videos..you deserve to earn as much as possible. Cheers
thanks william for following. i appreciate the support!
I started losing my hair at 17yrs by the age of 20 i was 7 norwood scale....i went the route of shaving it off, though for many years i wore a baseball cap and tbh i was quite traumatised by losing my hair im now 54 and still have the odd insecure days.
Just got my first hair system today, absolutely love it. Feels so amazing to have my hair back at 27. Thanks Jake for opening my eyes.
You’re welcome! Welcome to the journey!
@@JakeKent making great men, day by day.
Hey bro, good one. Waiting for more celebs with hair systems analysis video.
I would certainly not mind an advertisement before the video. Your content is original and you should receive a compensation for your effort :)
Wow, thank you!
This is a great idea for a series. Probably the best hair system channel on youtube.
Wow, thanks! :)
👍🏻 Will not bother me. Just stay active and happy, do what you think is best for you. You are already doing a lot for everyone here.
Go for it mate
Brother I'd have no problem with that. I understand that it does take a lot of work to do what you're doing on UA-cam so go for it!
I appreciate that
Your videos are very helpful!
Thanks!
I don't like ads at all, wherever they appear, but they're very difficult to escape. Do what's best for you!
You go for the adverts kiddo - won't make a blind bit of difference to us
Now! As for Elton - sorry fan boy here - Hes Britain's greatest export - followed him from I was a boy
I liked his look in a round Diana's death 💀- his look at the minute is not so good - his hair looks like its been ripped off his backside and stuck on - about course looking but heh - hes Elton - he could rock a hedge hog! Lol 😆 great video buddy
You should take a look at the secret hair life of David Beckham
will do!
in the mid 70's he was quite happy to not use wigs, even when it was receding very rapidly, it was only from 1977 onwards he covered up with caps and boaters etc. It didnt affect his popularity, ironically his sexuality was more of an issue in America at that time
erm, just to let you know even those pics of him in late 60s with thick hair, were wigs, he started going bald about 18-20 in the mid 60s
Hey Jake, your system looks just as dense, perhaps even more dense, than this pic of Elton 9:40. It's a very unrealistic density in my opinion (for your longer length at least).. This is coming from a fan of your channel and someone who appreciates what you're doing for this community ✌️. Are you happy with your current density? Would you go shorter with your current system? Also, your natural hair has curl to it and you'd most likely see a much better blend having curls on the system. I don't know why, but, stock lace systems seems to have natural curl, and poly has straight hair. Curls also seem to soften a system and prevent the mushroom/microphone bounciness that is so common, especially after washing it
Hi s, Thanks for the comment. My current unit is too dense I know this. Unfortunately during these times we all have to deal with what is in stock. My hair color and the correct density and the correct base type for me was not available so I had to go with what was currently in stock. Got to make do with what you got available.
@@JakeKent Fair enough, it makes sense man. I appreciate your reply ✌️ I still think your current system could blend better with styling, perhaps cutting shorter too. Either way, take care buddy, I'm a fan
@@JakeKent You wear a wig?? O^O. It looks sooooooooo great & natural.
Completely agree! I could clock that a mile away. Much, much too dense and low on the forehead.
Jason Alexander aka George castanza has a pretty amazing hair System, not sure if he still wears or not, but it looked great
Yup! Good stuff!
I actually have met him personally . He wears a full wig. Sides back and top. He lost his hair but a lot was contributed to drug use he said. You were spot on with this
he's a legend!
Bullshit you don't lose your hair from drug use, this dude was bald from a early age, I also know him when he first started trying plugs back in 1986.
Do liberace please....
I thought he has a hair transplant from a cadavor skull
I say he would not have had his career continue so well if he had been bald. Also monetisation is good if it supports you. There's a difference between monetising things and just being a salesman.
Boom! It’s not much at this level (maybe 100 bucks a month) but it helps 😅
You don't need a head full of hair to have a successful international music career. Some of his earlier wigs were crazy but those times were crazy .... & from the '90s onwards, they've been great.
Do Matthew McConaghey
You look way more attractive, eye catching and handsome with this type of hair system you r wearing right now.
thanks!
Elton looks like he is wearing a wig, no way does that look real.
5:33 you mean FUT, FUE is different than what you describe
The farewell yellow brick road picture is a 3d model i can put a $100 on it.
Yes monetize your channel thumb up for it..It will allow you to produce more quality content and why the hell not,you worked and still working hard on channel so you have all right to be monetized..
I appreciate you asking for our input, but you gotta do what’s right for you.
So go ahead and monetize, you put out good info and deserve to get paid.
I appreciate that
A good wig
I think most channels that monetize have more subscribers. That said, I think your channel is unique and just the technical info alone is worth paying for so I would not have a problem with it. In fact if you had a book I would buy it. I predict you will be at least to 20k subscribers by 2021 (and I haven't been wrong yet :))
we only got a few months my guy!! that would be pretty awesome to see that growth!
Ok with the ads 👍
Go go go with the 💰 👍🏼
No problem with monetization
thanks for the feedback
U should monetize! Just keep ur brand partnerships unbiased
They will always stay unbiased. I’ll never take commission for that reason
😂🤣😅
I still think Sean Connery when he played 007, is an example of an exceptional and believable early hair system / wig.
Oh yes! He’s a great one!
Sean Connery looked mighty fine, with or without his own hair.
No one likes commercials, but it is the way of the world. Do what you have to do. If this was a music video I would say ,"hell no", who wants music interrupted and chopped up.
Dude your hair is sooo obvious that it's a wig, I could spot it a mile away.
Monetising would not bother me. Everyone seems to do it.
thanks for the input william
You should
yes you should monetize, this is a great channel it'd be a waste to not earn money on it
thanks for your support matt!
I myself notice most hairpieces from quite a distance. To me it seems weird that you guys have this certain lack of self confidence. It’s kind of as if you were wearing trousers with a massive sausage sewn in. I can’t help myself picturing the moment, when your new girlfriend realises you are wearing a dead animal on your head.😮
Monetize away!
thanks for the input!
Yes monetize this content
thanks greyson!
