Got to say these personal layout tours are becoming some of my favourite videos of yours, your coverage of them has been fantastic! Hopefully you get some more invites out to others!

What an amazing layout. All in 4 years too.
He’s done some amazing work!
What an incredible build and layout!! The detail is just so amazing, how could one not spent days lost in the world of that layout!
Certainly is! Thanks for watching it!
I've seen a few layouts over the year's that Bob has done, definitely an incredible modeller.
Words could never say enough.
It’s a real work of art!
Thank you Will on another excellent video production.
And thank you Bob for showing your work via Will's channel.
Our pleasure!
Stunning and so busy with tracks and points. I really enjoyed the cab view moment. A reminder of the old glory days of railways in Oz. Sadly these days it's a very different story. Will maybe chase down a guy called Bruce Hunt. He's into model railways and he's been a director in the film industry in Oz. There's enough clues for you to chase up. I'm sure Bruce has stuff that's very special and different.
What a stunning layout, thanks for sharing it with us 👍🏻🇦🇺
One of the best Aussie home layouts i have seen. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Will, wow, what an amazing layout. Thank you to Bob for allowing you to bring us a view into this awesome layout. Oh to have that much space available, it is incredible. SO true on the wiring, it is important to have a colour code plan, and then stick to it.
The details in the weathering, and the building is amazing.
Thank you for taking the time to film and share this layout, cheers, and stay safe, Michael
fantastic thanks WIll and Bob.

You had me at the thumbnail! But then it went beyond there as the video progressed. This by far has been your best and most enjoyable video to watch, and I hope it does well with views. Thanks Bob as well for opening up your layout to us all, and to Will, good use of the DJI Pocket 3 😜

Yes indeed!
G'day Will, what a fantastic layout, the amount of detail is astonishing, l have lived all my life in Northern Victoria and have been a train 🚂 nut for all of my 67 years, most of those locations are just a shadow of the former glory now, l have memories of visiting all one time or another in my youth just like you do in your videos, l would love too visit that layout, is it open to the public, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
Many thanks Neil! Glad you enjoyed it!

I grew up at the Vale during the period Bob has model which has brought back wonderful memories. Thanks Bob for sharing your magnificent layout with us it’s a gem. Will, another fantastic video. 😊😊😊😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a great layout. Much more interesting than the usual Swiss chocolate box scenery.
It really is!
I visited Korong Vale in 1981, the yard was full of condemmned rolling stock. One boxcar tore in two during a shunting movement. The overbridge from the platform to Scully’s Hotel was demolished before I visited. The staff had moved out of the station building and into the goods shed.
When I walked the town, I thought I saw a few twitching curtains.
I did ride on wheat trains on both lines but never rode the DERMS, I had also rode on various specials in the early eighties.
There were three stations that had two gate wheels in the signal box, they were Korong Vale A East Ballarat and Mordialloc.
Thanks for sharing that Daryl!
Absolutely the best layout Ive seen so far. A credit to Bob for the effort and meticulous detail on everything. Does he do tours? Great video mate with very descriptive narrative.
One of the best!
Unfortunately it’s not open to the public but I was lucky enough to get to share it with all of you!
Love this, so inspirational. Simply one of the best i have seen and a brilliant depiction of VR operations and setting. Fantastic video artistry from Will as usual.

Thank you very much!
THANK YOU BEAUTY DETAIL VIDEO AND SHARE WITH OTHER
You are so welcome!
Great video Will, Bob is a master of model building, along with his friend the late Bill Hoare. If I may suggest another layout for you to film it is Town and Country, which has been seen at several exhibitions over the past few years. I believe it lives somewhere in the Bendigo region.
Well I’m more than open to making videos on layouts and if someone can email me contact details I’ll reach out!
well done!
Thanks Robert!
Wonderful! These are busy lines on the network today still!
Perhaps not as busy as it was when this layout is set!
Amazing model and modelling!! Can’t possibly have been built in 4 years though? Ernie
Bob does some amazing work!
Hi Will thank you for sharing this beautiful layout. Is it available to be viewed by the public, do you know? Cheers
Hey Jason, it is a private layout and not open to the public! I was very lucky to be able to share it!
No motter how detailed we make our layouts we all end up with using those old atlas/tyco telegraph poles :-p
Thanks for watching all the same!
Rippa !
3:59 I can just vaguely hear you talking in the background
Sorry that this has potentially ruined the video for you. I will endeavour to try harder. Sorry again.
Being a little bit picky there. I hope it was tongue-in-cheek…
I love Australian railroad. It's different. Some similarities to American. So sick of English country garden stuff.
Jokingly I did comment on a UK video about building Australian,
I said all you need is a bucket of sand and a very long single straight.
Cheers Chuck!
Nice video Will. What an incredible layout and the fact it took 4 years to build is outstanding! One of the best VR era layouts I have seen in a long time!
Thanks Nicholas!
