Jane's scarf really reminds me of the wings of a Red Admiral Butterfly. I just saw one earlier today and I was so glad because an insect group which i joined was saying that they hadn't seen any so far this year, but I just saw one, in Ireland, at the start of August 2024. The poor thing had one damaged wing, but they looked happy enough with whatever flowers were in the garden anyhow.

Started a Roots & Shoots chapter at my school. One of the most fulfilling things I've done in my life.
She was my first crush as a child in the 70's. She was so beautiful and smart and lovely, and still is.
