I will share a recent story in the event that it helps someone else with their tig welding! Love the channel, its helped me a lot with my tig welding!
A few days ago I was welding some parts for a non critical/structural mixer blades(stainless). Every single pass was coming out grey and oxidized! I checked my part, everything was properly cleaned and prepped for the weld. Gas was set to the proper amount of gas needed for my cup size. Angle was good, and my bead profile and heat affected zone was small and controlled. I was losing my mind, I ended up rewatching a bunch of old videos trying to double check any issues I was having. Little did I realize I had to move my table to make room in the shop and I hadn't noticed that I parked it right in front of an industrial sized AC unit, and it was blowing away all of my atmosphere. Moral of the story here is don't forget to check your set up is 🤣
    Hope this helps someone!
Great video looking forward to the next one

    Atta boy !!
To be clear, ... , I'm no tig welder & will not be pursuing tig ... ever, ... , even though I have the Lincoln 180 i that features this option.
I found you when researching mig welding & was impressed by your video production, clear, concise & simple way you articulated the information you share. (Much like your skills at tig)
I always thought you held dear the idea of progressing daily. But, this video absolutely confirms it.
You have been blessed by God & the mentors He's given you the opportunity to learn from. Above all this, your will to pursue a daily progressive form of building better skills & understanding of your trade may be the brightest light in your control.
Love the channel and will continue to be inspired by you,
    Thanks for your generous consideration,
    Sincerely ...........................
    God Bless !!

I am primarily interested in working with mild steel, and have a DC only machine. I'm guessing I would get more out of the stainless class, but that's just a guess.
    Any thoughts?

Could you do a couple videos with more difficult pieces and positions? It’s a lot easier doing stuff flat on a table and following your directions. My issue is I know I’m doing the same stuff as you did earlier when you welding prior to YT (like your example in video ) but can’t seem to figure out best way to go about fixing issues. Did a bike seat stem repair last week ( had bike frame in vise, protected with rags ) but the tubing is small and radius is sharp so not much room for torch n filler hands along with clear line of sight. Also we do 3/4” think aluminum plate with gussets on each end welding down into that corner not much space for anything let alone 2 hands and a hood. The stuff comes out nice, holds up doesn’t break etc. but I know I’m fluctuating my distance from piece and some of the dabs are off to the side because of space restrictions. ( I could send you a few pics to your email when I’m back at work this week at some point, if you had the time or desire to mimic the 1 or 2 things I send ) but the bike seat stem and the 3/4 bracket are difficult enough that by seeing those done it’d help my brain click for me to mimic what you do.. but I know your busy so might not be reasonable to ask something like this. But just a thought/ video idea. Thanks for the uploads they’re always good✅💥🤘🏼

I have sent you some nice comments in the past and even defended you against some criticism. I have watched hundreds of your videos. This particular video reminds me of a problem I have seen creeping into your UA-cam stuff. I used to click on one of your videos and learn for a few minutes, which is what I wanted, and enjoyed. Now I click on a video like this, and get the impression this is going to be another sales presentation for your online courses...non-ending. So I drop out early. This will kill your channel for many of us. When I see a new video from you I'm going to be hesitant to take a chance on it in the future because I fear it's a long commercial. You will have to decide on whether this is a UA-cam education channel or an advertising "Gotcha" for your on-line courses. Sorry Dusty.
