Flashbang: know for a fact that flashbangs are not only to be used to blind enemies. They can also be used to deafen them. Use their deafened state for good opportunities
To be fair, the reason why so many people are scared at pushing a potentially flashed player is because of how inconsistent flash granades are. More often than not youll slap someone in the face with a flash, you push them, they kill you and it turn out in the replay they were not flashed at all or they were flashed just for a milisecond and then gained full visibility for some ungoddly reason., same thing with ying. Considering this is siege we are talking about, it doesnt surprise that even simple mechanics like flash granades barely work.
Exactly… this is exactly why I unmained ying. I got tired of flashing the shi out of people but it ends up being for like less than a second and I get turned on
I’d rather play intel if my team composition has operators that are good at swinging especially if the people playing are confident and can aim well dokkaebi is incredibly useful if your teammates are aggressive because you can sit back and let them clear out everyone but if you want to be the aggressive player using nomad is useful especially if you have a hall or a rotate you can block off with an air jab
One time I was playing Rook laying on the floor and watched as a flash bounced into Obj, land right in front of my face, go off... and nothing happened. Well, other than 3 people rushing in and immediately getting wrecked cuz they assumed the flash would actually, you know, work.
its also Pretty neat how throwing an EMP at a maestro gadget forces the thing to open and you can just shoot it after. idk if its a bug but its pretty convenient
(A maybe useful tip) with the bullet proof cam like kudos said when you put the cam in a reinforcement. You can place an surya gate on the wall which blocks projectiles from hitting it
Another tip with flashbangs are that the ringing sound when you get flashed can overtake the other audio. So even it they aren’t blind, they still can’t hear.
The EMP tip makes a lot of sense, never really thought about using it against clash, might bring those next time. And flash tip also makes sense but I still dont trust flashes tbh
As Frost, I like to place one of my mats behind my deployable shield in a doorway. Not guaranteed, but if they don’t check it with a drone or prefire as they jump over they can miss it and land right in it.
I also see so many claymores at windows that are potential but unlikely. If you have decent map knowledge, place them at obvious rotations or passages. Even if the defender shoots it you know someone is behind you. so you can either push on side or fight the roamer first.
Another way to use the claymore is to put it right in front of the door barricade. The lasers are blocked by the barricade, and are only shown when the barricade is broken down. It is a little risky since it might be seen, but is unexpected
The claymore tip should be when placing on doorways have only 1 laser visible. The claymore should be facing the wall with only 1 laser sticking out and not so close to the doorway. Defenders cannot see the claymore from any angle on the door so they cannot shoot it, they have to use an impact if they have one which would still give away their flank. It also makes it harder to see the laser for defenders. I still say double up though cause if 2 claymore lasers look like one then they are likey to think theres only 1 claymore. Most the time they dont even think to double check for a second claymore after the first is destroyed.
i was just about to comment this tip too.. until i seen your comment. i always got kills because of this little tip. makes it harder to see especially on the brightly lit maps. Another claymore tip is to put them at the angle as mentioned by you (one laser showing), on stairs with the secondary platforms in between floors such as on oregon big tower stairs or kafe red stairs.. put the claymore furthest away from the top step of those middle platforms in between the floors. i hope that makes sense
also with the breach charges- BREACH WITH THEM! seriously. nobody ever actually ENTERS the building with a breach swing, but I find a shit ton of success doing it myself
A little thing to add to the impact granade section: you can also stom them from getting any kind of hole, and it also works on other hard breachers. Simply throw the impact through the drone hole in chalet basement or at the soft part on top of the wall if there's one.
Also for the secondary hardbreach it helps ALOT for shield players. The amount of times I've actually survived using a crouch hole instead of a vault wall is way too many for me to count.
11:40 The thing about placing the barbed wire closer, also in the site, is to get attackers' attention when they are already exposed beyond their comfort zone.
A claymore tip for only door run outs not window runouts. If you place the claymore in front of the door when it breaks via impact, tear down or knife the claymore will detonate and the lasers will be hidden. Also from testing myself, If a defender tears down a barricade because of the animation of them pulling out their gun again the claymore will detonate before the animation is complete. However if an impact is thrown down enough it will break the claymore but most people will throw it at the corner.
I'm really new to the game, having alot of fun surprisingly, and im liking IQ on attack, and helping my teammates get the most value out of their gadgets is so cool. Although I have watched a few videos saying shes not that good.
About the breach charge on the windows, that’s a death sentence dude. That shit is louder than a 1 speed thumping around. I guarantee plat+ you will get shot through the window.
Bonus with the bp cam! You can also hide the cam behind Aruni's Surya Gate to make it even harder for attackers to punch it without wasting utility or taking damage.
18:26 idk if it’s better but I set 2 claymores one behind the other and slightly diagonal. That makes it so only 1 laser is visible. I’ve had multiple times where a defender shoots the first claymore and runs out, only to find a new laser appear that was previously blocked by the first claymore. Works pretty well for me
man I wish teammates put deployable shields in the middle of a room that does nothing instead of putting them in the door to site and making retaking really hard
I thought I was crazy for using breach charges to break open barricades on windows and shit, it's why I stopped doing that. Apparently I was right all along!
On the consulate rework if you are in the basement and you shoot above right where the reinforcement is and throw an impact there and it'll destroy the hard breach on the other side
Very exhaustive! The only think I don't understand now is why every time I play and pick up the proximity alarm my team mate look around and ask "where does come this from? why somebody put up the alarm clock?" and spin on the spot while the enemy knife them....
The fact that flashbangs aren’t directional anymore annoys my so much. (Directional as in if you are looking the opposite direction then it wouldn’t flash you) if I don’t want to get flashed I have to stop holding the angle, that seems like a strong enough effect. The flash duration is just so long that having no way (other than warden) to avoid the flashes sucks.
Are we just ignoring the fact that when you have intel on an enemies position and you are below them you can just straight up shoot them? Though I have to agree getting nade kills is the most satisfying thing in rainbow.
something nice you can do with them is put them down next to a mute jammer so then the doorway becomes undronable (credit to BikiniBodhi, he made a video about it)
w hard breach charges if u look up as much as possible and place one and look as far down as possible and place a second u can get a walkable hole into the hard breach
Like people wants to use warden use his glasses if a warden player hears smoke, stuns grenades or Ying flashes use the glasses if you hear those things
With impact, what i do, and saw a few times. Bc i use clash sometimes. I always forgot when i press impact, than she gonna put away the shield, grab THE GUN than the impact, and it takes a lot of time
Do you have other clips to show from your streams and such? I see a lot of repeat clips like the glaz maverick one on chalet. Not trying to be toxic or mean, just asking
I have a question: I was once smoking off garage in Consulate for a plant and we practically smoked off the entire room yet my outline in the smoke was clearly visible to a non-Warden defender. Is this a visual bug or something to do with frame rate, or was that just a one time fluke?
Ok but Everytime I try to place a hard breach secondary at crouch level the game bugs and it makes me put it away even though it holds it up and says I can place it
Another thing for the impact EMP is a lot of people seem to use them all within 10 seconds and not moving their mouse, as in doing the same thing with no change, bot shit
